A walk through Colonia Suiza, a beautiful mountain village located just 25 kilometers from Bariloche at the foot of Cerro Lopez!
Colonia Suiza was founded in the late 19th century by families from the Canton of Valais, and the place still preserves the architecture and traditions of the first Swiss settlers, which in turn attract tourism.
The best days to visit are on Wednesdays when there is curanto.
Curanto is a meal prepared using hot stones buried in a hole, and many people come from afar to try this dish, so take that into account when planning your visit.
