📆We filmed this video on the afternoon of Tuesday 21st September 2021 and early morning on Wednesday 22nd September 2021

💜We stayed at the Premier Inn Thurrock West prior to embarking on a Disney Cruise from Tilbury Cruise Terminal.

🌞The staff at the Premier Inn Thurrock West are all friendly, efficient and helpful.
🌞 Check-in was at 4pm, but they kindly gave us the keys at 3.30.
🌞We were given room number 2, which was a quiet location.
🌞Our room had a lovely large comfortable king bed
🌞We were provided with a kettle, decent-sized coffee mugs, teaspoons, tea, coffee, sugar/sweetener and milk.
✅We had a really good stay at this hotel, but as you will see in the video, you need to be aware of the potential traffic issues and plan accordingly.

Hi Nettie, thank you for this important information especially for those who will be traveling around this area. the hotel looks nice, but sorry that you have to deal with that awful traffic, and even with your back up plan, you were still affected by the Dartford crossing. But admired your patience and for being positive, at least you won't be dealing with that everyday, and there' always light at the end of the tunnel, whatever negative circumstances we have to deal with, there is always a solution. thank you Nettie,

We enjoyed seeing the Premier Inn, Nettie. Looks like a nice place but the traffic was something I wouldn't care to get into. You'll all drive on the wrong side of the road too and in heavy traffic I'd really struggle! Thanks for bringing us along and doing the driving!

Oh my goodness that traffic looked nasty. And whenever I watch one of your videos I always feel like you are driving on the wrong side of the road! LOL! Glad to see that you made it out of that traffic jam. The hotel looked very nice with decent food.

Traffic looked like a nightmare, always seems that way in and around the M25. We tried the Premier Inn on Great Yarmouth seafront and were fairly impressed, I was surprised that we had to ask for our room to be cleaned which was a new one for me, but I guess due to the pandemic that has changed the rules.
Hi Andy, yes it was. To a degree I think they are blaming the pandemic on a way to cost cut. But to be honest we would only stay in a Travelodge or Premier Inn max 3 days, so often don't ask for cleaning and just grab what we want from reception.

A great room, but the pillows look a little too flat for me. LOL. Nice bathroom and shelving unit. The food looked good from their restaurant. Have fun on your cruise. Traffic! Yikes.

I tend to use travel lodge basic but in fairness over that few years they are much better apart from the windows never open wide lol (hot in the summer) lol 😂
Premier inn I’ve found that little bit plusher and tonne honest the price between the two is about the same I’ve found. Depends on location

Great Premier Inn Tour and drive! Sorry to hear about the pesky protesters Nettie. Gggrr, they make my blood boil! We use Travelodge a lot but there prices have quadrupled now its summer, will check out Premier Inns! 👍
Both Premier Inn and Travelodge aren't as cheap as they used to be, but at least you know what you are getting.
