Η παραλία της Απόκρουσης Κύθνου είναι μία από τις ομορφότερες παραλίες του νησιού. Βρίσκεται σε ένα κλειστό όρμο στο βορειοδυτικό τμήμα του νησιού της Κύθνου ανάμεσα σε μικρούς λόφους. Διαθέτει εύκολη πρόσβαση μέσω του βασικού ασφαλτοστρωμένου δρόμου, καθώς και υπέροχη θέα προς την επίσης ξεχωριστή παραλία της Κολώνας.
Η παραλία της Απόκρουσης είναι από τις μεγαλύτερες της Κύθνου και αμμώδης. Το κολύμπι είναι απολαυστικό στα πεντακάθαρα και διαυγή νερά που καθρεφτίζουν το φως του ήλιου, κάνοντας τον βυθό κρυστάλλινο. Κατά μήκος της παραλίας στα περισσότερα σημεία της φύονται αρκετά αλμυρίκια ικανά να σας προστατέψουν από τον ήλιο απολαμβάνοντας τη σκιά τους και τον ήχο από το θρόισμα των φύλλων τους.
Η θέση της παραλίας στον μικρό απάνεμο κόλπο της Απόκρουσης είναι ιδανική και προσφέρει μοναδική θέα. Όντας στο κέντρο της παραλίας, δεξιά και αριστερά η άκρη του ματιού πιάνει το χρυσαφί των γυμνών λόφων, που σταδιακά πλησιάζουν ο ένας τον άλλο, στο κέντρο απλώνονται τα καταγάλανα νερά που αγγίζουν τον ορίζοντα, ενώ το βλέμμα αντικρίζει τη νησίδα του Αγίου Λουκά της παραλίας της Κολώνας. Πραγματικά οι λέξεις είναι πολύ λίγες για να αποτυπώσουν την ειδυλλιακή θέα.
Στην παραλία της Απόκρουσης λειτουργεί ένα Beach Bar, που προσφέρει αναψυκτικά, δροσιστικά ποτά και σνακς, έχοντας εκπληκτική θέα προς τον κόλπο. Επίσης στον οικισμό βρίσκονται λιγοστά ενοικιαζόμενα δωμάτια και δύο ταβερνάκια όπου μπορεί ο επισκέπτης να γευτεί την τοπική κουζίνα με τους ξεχωριστούς μεζέδες από ντόπια υλικά.
Στον χαμηλό λόφο που οριοθετεί το βόρειο τμήμα του κόλπου της παραλίας της Απόκρουσης βρίσκεται ένα μικρό ξωκλήσι. Εκεί βρίσκεται και ο δρόμος που οδηγεί στην περίφημη παραλία της Κολώνας. Στο λόφο που ορθώνεται στα νότια της παραλίας βρίσκεται ο αρχαιολογικός χώρος του Βρυόκαστρου, ο οποίος αποτελούσε την αρχαία πρωτεύουσα του νησιού και οι ανασκαφές έχουν αποκαλύψει πλήθος ευρημάτων.

On the low hill that borders the northern part of the bay of Apokrusis beach there is a small chapel. There is also the road that leads to the famous beach of Kolona. On the hill that rises to the south of the beach is the archaeological site of Vryokastro, which was the ancient capital of the island and the excavations have revealed a multitude of findings.
