Susanna Tapani of PWHL Boston scores in overtime vs. Montreal to sweep semi-final series 5/14/24

After Montreal blew a 2-0 lead, including allowing a shorthanded tying goal late in the 3rd period, Tapani scored at 1:02 of OT to give Boston a 3-2 win and a surprising 3-game sweep in the best of 5 series. All 3 games were decided in overtime. Boston advances to the first PWHL final.

Good for Boston, but very disappointing for Montreal. Only 4 goals scored in 3 games and blowing a 2-0 lead in this game. I just hope that Ticketmaster refunds me for my game 5 ticket!

@@helOcookie I'm very lucky with my in person hockey opportunities. I can see the Canadiens (which I would do more often if the games weren't so expensive), the Laval Rocket, the PWHL and even university hockey games. For me, the best deal is the Rocket games. Very affordable and those games are never boring. When you say you're across the pond, does that mean you live in the UK?

@@montrealsports29 Finland. Bunch of hockey here too so I can't complain too much :) But i'd love to see an NHL game in an authentic environment, and quite honestly Montreal would be terrific for that

They seem to need more than just 3 or 4 players contributing to the offence. A more balanced team will help them next season.
