Thank you! The BMC filters are a great mod for the money. I highly recommend the AWE track exhaust. It enhances the sound of the M5 and doesn't break the bank. The way it sounds turns heads and you can hear the turbo spool along with the glorious hot V sound
@@carguy302 Does your M5 has any downpipes yet? Cause I also have the AWE track exhaust and in comfort it still so loud lol. I honestly would say maybe louder than sport plus with the OEM exhaust. But mine is a pre-LCI though
Nice video. Just an FYI. The rear, larger, strut brace bolts should be replaced and then both front (smaller) and rear, torqued to spec, as per BMW instructions. I didn't the first time around. But replaced the rears and torqued front and rear to specs when I found out
Any issues at all with the BMC filters? Have you checked them since install? I know this is supposed to be a relatively innocuous mod but it’s hard to find real world reviews. I’ve seen various takes on oiled filters not being ideal.

I’d like to do more power mods next. Carbahn is releasing a package for the car that will take it to 893HP. I’m hearing 9’s quarter mile time with a warranty.
@@carguy302 honestly man I went to bmw dealership and saw a xm black on the white and brown interior and I fell in love it’s such a cool car in person and it’s so crazy looking that in the road people are going to say what is that because it stands out

No issues at all. I recently had the car serviced and the tech said they look great. BMC makes a quality product.

Yes it’s the AWE Track. Love the sound & price. No drone and if the car is left in comfort mode you wouldn’t even know it has an exhaust.

Probably not an improvement over stock. It’s most likely the charcoal filter you took out that made the difference
It was a fun experiment. However it did produce a measurable gain. Saw the same improvement with my M3 as well.
I have a '21 M5 Comp which is still on its original warranty. Does changing out the filters void the warranty?
