How To Ask Your Manager For A Raise (From A Former Manager)

In this video I will offer guidance on how to ask for a raise and will draw on my past experience as an engineering manager to let you know what your manager will be looking for. Keep in mind that raises are never guaranteed, there are a lot of moving parts behind the scenes, but hopefully this video sheds some light and gives you the best chance possible for getting that raise you're looking for.

Not in a bad way but if you have that mind set you won't get so offended and will work harder to prove why they should give what your asking

"You are going to court" is a good way to think about it, definitely need to come prepared and bring all of your evidence/proof that you deserve the off-cycle raise.
