We had a blast hanging out with you guys. You have so many awesome suggestions and videos. And loved getting to hang with the keiki!!!!! They're adorable!!!!!
It was wonderful finally meeting your family! Thanks for the wonderful suggestion!
@@TheHawaiiVacationGuide we loved meeting you all. Definitely island hop and come see us again! We'd love it!
During the "obsessively watching CZcamss" phase of vacation planning, your family is just the best. I'm glad you mentioned Highway Inn. I love going to the one in Kaka'ako, not just for the usual luau-type Hawaiian foods, but for one kind of fish, that's hard to find in any island restaurant. Akule (pan fried) is an amazingly flavorful local fish. It's small, so low on the food chain and low on "forever" chemicals and heavy metals. It's a little bony, and not deep fried, but sooo good!
Thanks for watching our videos and subscribing! Great tip on what to order at Highway Inn! Mahalo!
21 degrees Estate was a highlight of my trip! Beautiful place with an educational tour. I brought home so much delicious chocolate:)
That's great to hear. We enjoyed it a lot too (obviously). I'm glad you made it over there to check it out.
Liked the video esp for folks who have never been to Hawaii. Had to laugh, However, I said the first mistake was someone taking Southwest airlines. Ha ha ha.
Other recs for the island of Oahu are: Skull and Crown Trading for their really cool tiki vibe and flaming skull drinks, Monkeypod in Ko'olina for their famous Mai Tais (go at Happy Hour), Haleiwa Beach House (lunch), Royal Lobster in Waikiki (fresh Maine lobsters flown in daily and the lobsters are all peeled for you on their buttery roll!). Sadly, Little Village Noodle House in Chinatown closed down permanently. Subscribed tonight for your lovely content!
Thanks for sharing the local tips!
Thanks! I’m staying in Ko’ Olina again and I’m definitely looking to get wasted lol
Being new to living on the island I appreciate your videos
I'm glad they are helping you explore your new place!
The baby is sooooo cute when you cheers at House Without a Key. Adorbs!!
the kids were so good there. Henry loved watching the show. It is a tradition to go back there.
Great video! So excited to get there May 4 and try some of these places! The cutest thing ever was the baby looking up at her dad talking at the Dim Sum Restaurant ❤
thanks for watching! She was loving the dim sum restaurant. She was game to try everything.
I miss the islands so much. Haven’t been there since August 2021. Kaanapali villas last time. Thank you for these videos. Such a lovely family and best content on you tube! 🤙🏽
thanks so much for watching. We hope you can come back soon or just keep watching for your Hawai'i fix!
@@TheHawaiiVacationGuide we visit every few years. Hopefully in October. It’s snowing and freezing in Reno still. This winter does not want to end. 😂
October is our favorite month to visit! good luck with that snow and the upcoming storm!
Cảm ơn bạn đã chia sẻ video hay! Chúc bạn hạnh phúc nhé 💗👍👍
Thanks for watching and for the comment!
My husband and I are so eager to get back to Hawaii! Your videos help to temporarily “cure” our blues until we can smell the sweet Hawaiian air again. Mahalo 🌺
I do love the smell of Hawaii when you get off the plane. so embracing. thanks for watching!
You are the BEST! Family looks great and Henry’s personality is shining through. We can’t wait to leave the mainland and enjoy our new life in Maui very soon. ❤🙏❤️
thanks for watching as always Bill! Henry is having a blast on our adventures but really loves the pool time.
On a visit last month to Oahu, we found bEASTside Kitchen. We had such a great experience that we returned a second time. They started as a food truck then went brick and stick. 20 minutes from Waikiki on Kalaniana’ole Hwy. I recommend giving them a try! Thanks for the videos.
Jordan & Erica, Thank you for the informative videos! This Michigan couple will be in Maui at the end of the month for our 40th Wedding Anniversary! Your videos helped immensely! So excited to experience the island and try the local fare! Appreciate your Channel so much!! Blessings to your sweet little family! 🥰🌴
Thanks so much for watching from Michigan. It has been a cold winter, I'm glad you can escape to Hawai'i for your anniversary. Have a wonderful time!
You guys are so helpful. I'm going to Maui for spring break and you guys have helped plan our trip so much, Mahalo!
Have a wonderful trip!
So excited to see our first stop in Waikiki was your first stop- House without a Key. Looks fantastic. Adding the 21 degrees estate now to our itinerary
I hope you love them both! Have a great trip! Say hi to Michael and Maria for us at 21 degrees.
❤ took screen shots of all these spots! Thanks guys!!
Great video! Thanks guys.... love your videos!!!
Great video guys. I've gotten so much fantastic information and recommendations from you guys. I love your Oahu itinerary which will be my guide on my trip later this month. On our last trip to Oahu we stuck to Waikiki and did a few group tours but this time we've decided to rent a car so we have control of our time...the only thing we'll have to get accustomed to is driving on the right side of the road.😢
Drive safely! I know how hard it can be to switch sides when driving. Thanks for grabbing our itinerary and enjoy your next trip of exploring O'ahu!
Beautiful video! I can’t wait to try all the things! I’ll be there in a few weeks, weeee………❤❤
Aloha!! Glad you guys got meet with Gina and Do! They really know all the good food spots and are lovely people. Mahalo for supporting local🤙
Aloha Sean, they were great to meet up with. We enjoyed your two part Oahu food videos. Great editing and great spots across the island.
You guys are killing me 😭 I miss Hawaii so muuuuuch!
Great tips just in time for our return visit to Oahu next week. Thanks!
Perfect! have a wonderful trip!
From someone who lives here, excellent video! Glad you tried Smoking Boar and Coconut! And Mana + Pau and Kaimana Shave Ice!
Thanks so much! We appreciate that! Smoking Boar and the Coconut and the wine paring was an OhanaEatz recommendation.
wow, I live here and I didn't even know about 21 Estates - thank you, will check them out!
This video I’m downloading easy access on my trip. I’m definitely going to try the shaved ice. So for Uncle Clay’s is my favorite. Oh and the baby is adorable!!! Those cheeks!!!
enjoy the shave ice and your trip to Oahu!
Henry is getting big! 😉
so big!
We love HIGHWAY INN at SALT
Great Hawaiian food!
Awesome stuff as always! ❤
thanks for watching and for the comment!
It's unfortunate I was with friends who don't drink and I had to walk to the East Waikiki Brewing location alone.
Really need to try Hana Koa if I go back. Had a taste of Honolulu Beer works and Aloha brewing via the cans.
Honolulu Beerworks has a lot of different flavors. Our friends like their jalapeño beer, not my jam. I'm glad you made the walk over!
I love Erica is sporting a duke hat on and published video on duke unc night
Aloha, Jordan and Erica! My family and I are big fans of the channel. Love the video. Can you please do a video for Chinatown?
Thanks for watching! Check out this oldie as we show off more of Chinatown on a walking tour: Honolulu Things to Do for a Day | Honolulu, Hawaii activities, eats, and all kid-friendly

See you in June ❤
I love your videos. Very Informative and helpful.
I’m heading to Oahu next week with my 8 yo and will be staying at the waikiki, Hilton village. Unfortunately I’m finding out at the Penguin club is now closed 😕 would you have any suggestions for any drop off kids clubs in the area?
I’m a single parent, and could use couple of hours child free while in HI
thank for watching! Childcare is tough to find on the islands but Oahu is your best bet. We recommend asking the resort for nanny recommendations. Many nannies/babysitters support the resorts. They can be pricey but experienced.
How much, take a picture of menu?
Love the music 🎶 ❤ 👌 💕
Do you have one of these for Maui? We are coming in the end of April and definitely want a food experience!
we do! czcams.com/video/bEp-2M4K7Lw/video.html
Thank you for all this info. We have our first trip to HI in April. Wanted to ask though. Do most places to eat there take credit cards, especially the food trucks? Just curious. Thanks for your help.
Yes, 90% take credit card or Venmo is my best guess. Bring some cash just in case. See our Maui Food Truck guide for info: thehawaiivacationguide.com/maui-food-trucks/ we also have a guide for Kauai food trucks.
@@TheHawaiiVacationGuide thank you so much! Also thanks for the very imformative You Tube channel info on traveling to HI. We arrive in April for a week and are so excited! (For our 45th wedding anniversary!)
Do you have a video of local places to eat in Waikiki that you can reach without a car?
thanks for watching and subscribing! We share our favorite places in our itinerary: thehawaiivacationguide.com/best-hawaii-itineraries/
I'm doing a food tour when I come back to Hawaii in Oct. I am going to eat myself stupid I tell ya..... First stop Donut king
Is that discount good in October when I am to Oahu? I am going to Chinatown because I missed last on my trip to Oahu.
We share all our discount codes here, they don't expire: thehawaiivacationguide.com/hawaii-vacation-guide-coupon-codes/
Almost has it all but I can't find a fish market or restaurant that has uni (sea urchin).
Try Tamashiro Market on N. King St

Never eat at a trendy or upscale restaurant in Hawaii 👎
