Lumine should be a descender too.
There is no reason for her not to be.
We just don’t know, “why” she isn’t perceived as such anymore.
For all we know, Lumine needs Aether to acquire all Elements too, because she probably feels it’s necessary to destroy the thrones.
Now, we already have 3 forces who want to destroy the current system.
      • Archons want to destroy the system
      • Abyss order seems to want the same.
      • And Albedo’s maker, wants to do the same.
      • Also, let’s not forget Khanriah. They probably wanted that outcome too, but their method was to forcefully to succeed.
      In conclusion:
I think for the story to truly make sense. Aether must gather all elements.
The Remains of the Third Descender must be destroyed, to awaken the HP.
And then the Archons, and everyone on Tyvat will probably attack her, in order to gain full control over Tyvat.
      In a sense.
This is a battle that will decide the fate of the world. And the Archons, Abyss order, and Ryndo are waiting for the pieces of the puzzle to finally connect.
      Nevertheless.
We don’t have a clear view, from the Sustainer’s POV. We don’t know “why” she is doing it. All we know is that she probably has something to do with Honkai, considering that she looks like Kiana.

Or maybe the Traveler itself is a successful copy of the Descenders, created by Khanriah as a War Weapon.
Honestly, if Lumine isn’t a descender, yet it’s still Aether’s blood related sibling, then it means that the Traveler is being controlled or had his memories altered.
There is no way, both traveler’s aren’t descenders, unless they are a genetic copy of another Descender.

My theory is... the Sustainer did what the Dendro Archon did. Remember that Rukkadevata got infected and in order to prevent infecting the Irminsul, she cut the purest branch (Nahida) from her. So that in the future, Nahida can eliminate the forbidden knowledge from Irminsul... and what if the Sustainer also did that? Remember a Melusine said that Paimon is like a balloon with her string extended up in the sky.

Yeah, I heard that melusine too, and it makes me almost sure that Paimon must have direct link to celestia. " the Fatui are trying to resurrect the third descender" _Oh shit_ I think you're right! That MUST be what they're trying to do. With, as mentioned, the theme of the Natlan Travail chapter being resurrection. I still wonder if the Abyss twin IS the Third Descender, despite being written into Irminsul. Both Irminsul and time itself can be tampered with, so nothing can be certain, except - as I think Zhongli said - what the Traveller sees themself. If we don't personally witness it, it could be untrue, no matter where it comes from. If the Abyss twin was killed by the First and Second Descenders and their elemental power used to make the gnoses, their soul/memories might have gone to the Abyss, since they're not from Teyvat and wouldn't have gone to the ley lines and Irminsul. We've seen that you can take consciousnesses from the Abyss, give them form and bring them into Teyvat (Elynas). Khaenri'ah may have done this with our twin, summoning them to help defend Khaenri'ah. Then if our twin was created or "born" in Khaenri'ah, they would be written into Irminsul, like Albedo is, despite also being a created person.

Spoilers for the Notes in the final Quest of the Narzissenkreuz Ordo!
An important thing to note: not every being alien to Teyvat qualifies to be a Descender. Only those whose will is enough to rival an entire world are given this title. Which explains why the Abyss twin is not one of them: even if they came to Teyvat from outside like the Traveler, their will is not enough to be a Descender.
If you want more info on that: it's in a note in the Narzissenkreuz Ordo HQ, right after the Doomsday Clock's hand falls. Read it, they have some really interesting info. Also mentions the "Primordial Human" (Narayana in Sumeru)

There are two explanations to why they havent done anything. 1# They have been severely weakened after the Cataclysm and 2# There is something way more dangerous lurking that they are preparing to fight to the point that the destruction of a divine seat is not important to them at the moment. Just imagine if Khaenriah's creations almost destroyed Teyvat what would happen if the actual Abyss made its way into the world. This could also explain why Celestia is assumed to be above Khaenriah, maybe they are just waiting for the day the Abyss break through the border and tries to destroy the world and with how far the Abyss Order's plans have gotten i wont doubt if the war will start soon.

There is records in the desert of sumeru that states that khanrieah was only at war with the abyss when they breached teyvat from a experiment gone wrong without a record of them killing gods from what I recall. I have a wild idea, that the Sustainer is Vanessa. She is the last known human who ascended to Celestia and then we don’t know anything about her. What if she became a guardian. A “volunteer” human who watches over the world while the true god sleeps and recovers.
She caught the twins to harvest them for new Gnosis. She released Lumine first and Lumine followed her intended path to unlock all the elements and save her brother. And she figured out why the Sustainer wanted her to do it. The Abyss helped her and told her how to fight the Sustainer. She attacked her and that’s when Aether was freed and the Sustainer wounded and thus being silent, but not dead. That’s what Lumine wants to do. She wants to kill her for good and the Abyss uses her to do it, because then the dark force from outside can enter Teyvat.

Let's just say, Rhinedotter plays a big role in this cataclysm since she's from Khan'riah. Khan'riah took the blame and tried to fight it. But the cataclysm gets worse and creeps roots to other nations. Too much of a problem, the sustainer has to do something. Rally up the archons to pluck out the source. Khan'riah had no choice but to fight on every front, and somehow winning it. The sustainer had to step up, boom, Khan'riah got annihilated and punished, but somehow the sustainer got corrupted too? (It depends on the problem of why they are quiet for now). Sister got deep to the truth that the punishment is far cruel, and joined the abyss. The sustainer shocked, released her brother for the second attempt of cleaning the world. And now here we are.

Traveler woke up long after their sibling so in a way MCs twin is lot more mature and definitely knows something important which is where the emotionless “we’ll meet again” came from. The twin just knew it wasn’t the right time perhaps because traveler would stop looking for them and wouldn’t see all the shenanigans in the different nations. What if this is an Adam and eve situation? perhaps the twins were once just the traveller and Gold took a piece of the traveller (Like Adams rib) and turned it into another being. Not only would this be a Godless land creating new "Human" life Celestia is punishing them like they did with Egeria. While Egeria used the primordial sea to create life the primordial sea is still from teyvat, the traveller is an outside being and using a part of them to create organic life in Teyvat would be seen as a "contamination" of sorts. When the twin was created, they were probably created in a similar yet different way then albedo so they are a part of teyvat unlike the traveller who did not originate from teyvat.
Maybe the Heavenly Principles weren't trying to stop the traveller, they were just trying to stop the one who now belongs to Teyvat and the Traveller was only kept because they kept fighting. This might also explain why the twin says "We have always had enough time" referring to the fact they were once 1 person. Or perhaps, if we follow the theory that Teyvat is a recreation of Honkai Impact after everything is destroyed, perhaps the Heavenly Principles stopped us because they are trying to keep teyvat hidden and us leaving might make it's presence known. Assuming that people know the imaginary tree theory, then what if the honkai impact world was destroyed and someone came up with a plan to take a branch of the imaginary tree like kusanahli did for nahida and planted it in a new world and would in essence recreate everyone in the new world however this means they had to hijack a pre-existing world, one ruled by the sovereigns. By taking their power and creating a "false sky" it would appear that nothing was there to whatever force destroyed Honkai impact.

Both Aether and Lumine are the 4th Descenders, because they both came at the same time, summoned by Khaenri'ah. That's why the Sustainer attacked them, they were the result of the "arrogation of mankind". Also, according to the opening, they had already been to Khaenri'ah before they went to Celestia and encountered the Sustainer.
Also, Neuvillette doesn't really give visions, those with elemental Authorities merely hand them out. When a powerful wish from a human reaches Celestia, the keeper of the respective elemental Authority is obliged to give them a vision. If Furina hadn't participated in that play and didn't pour her heart out with that song she wouldn't have gotten a vision. So technically Neuvillette is still working for Celestia, because Celestia reaps the power of ascended vision wielders.

Going based on two different videos. The sibling collected all the elements and was killed to create all the gnosis, was then revived. This means the third descender was the other sibling who died and also explains why Focalor gnosis was referred to as the remains of the third descender. It also explains why the sibling is a native to Teyvat and not a descender, as the sibling is technically both. If this holds true, the travelers job is indeed to make sure that the heavenly principles or whoever intended to create the gnosis does not manage to kill the traveler. Perhaps by gather the gnosis again, they can bring their real sibling back. Alternatively, they do not attempt this and destroy the gnosis or third, they submit to execution and reunites with their sibling. All of this may also explain why there is no information on the sibling. It was erased. My memory of what Nahida said is a bit fuzzy tho

Im more with the theory that she is letting all this happen cause she knows it will eventually lead to what she wants. But there is three things i wanna add:
    1. The heavenly principles as we call her, we don't know exactly if she meant herself or someonelese when we fought her. What I'm trying to say is, she isn't the only one in celestia. Celestia is said to have more gods. Phanes had 4 shades, and i like to believe on the popular theory is that she is the god of space, like how Istaroth is the god of time and a shade of phanes.
    2. We learned from Neuvillette that the first and the 2nd desender worked together to make the gnosis from the 3rd desender. So they are working together, or once worked together. Cause the sun and the moon says the 1st n 2nd fought.
    3. And lastly the most important thing of them all, if what u are saying is true that celestia is letting resonate with the statues to make new gnosis with us...and guess who is leading us towards every nation n taught us how to resonate and manipulate the elements? Paimon. In Ars goetia, Paimon, one of the strongest demon kings of hell was in fact the most loyal to Lucifer. And if we consider Phanes or 2nd desender or whoever is running celestia right now, Paimon is the most loyal to them. ASIMON we met in the desert was someone who lead us to king deshret's throne, and paimon's duty is to lead us to celestia, and use us to make the gnosis.

  • @gidi3250
    @gidi3250 Před 6 měsíci +1

She's most likely just chilling, waiting for something to directly threaten Celestia, just like with khaenri'ah, Celestia waited until khaenri'ah was making it's move, not when khaenri'ah was building itself up as a nation. Also the archons themselves don't give visions, Venti said it's gifts from the heavens, Zhongli said it's beyond his power as he could only make a fake, and Ei said she doesn't know why no more electro visions where being given out as she isn't involved with the creation or distribution of said visions. Neuvillette most likely could give Furina a vision due to the power of the gnosis and dragon being 1 again, instead of split in 2 divided between them, Celestia most likely doesn't have this power issues.

My thought too is that mage n mentioned doing things “beyond the gave of the gods” and these visionaries - these very powerful people operating in the far reaches might be hard for the principles to wrangle and therefore are letting the traveler run around in the hopes of drawing them out and rounding them up?? Idk might be a stretch

nothing happened to the gnosys... celestia can't care less about what happens down, unless something REALLY big happens.
so basically the archon death and neuvillette getting back his power, they don't eve know it happened probably. cause the gnosys is still in one piece.

During the Chasm side story quest, remember a certain girl named Zhiqing said "The golden city... The black watchtower...! *cough* The heavenly envoys have left...!"
This is most likely a big hint that the Celestial gods may have left Teyvat long ago already which would explain why they have done nothing for the past 500 years.

I more view the archons as playing a similar role as Wriothesley. They are elemental beings native to Teyvat, whose creation came from the dragons. After the Primodial one came, and the war with the second who came, they were forced to battle each other to decide who gets to be Celestia’s prison wardens. None of the archons seem to want to be aligned with Celestia, and they all seem to be ok defying celestia by giving their gnosis to the cryo archon for different reasons. Even Venti didn’t put up much of a fight to keep his gnosis. There’s no way that the archons don’t know the gnosis they are giving away are going to be used to bring about the destruction of the heavenly principles. I think the only way celestia intervenes is during cases where gnosis are destroyed or forbidden knowledge is out of control. They obviously don’t care about whether an archon dies or dealing with archon succession. Maybe they are aren’t aware that Neuvilette is a dragon sovereign who got his authority back, since the gnosis is still in tact. From Celestia’s point of view, Fontaine flooded and all Egeria’s blasphemous oceanid humans were drowned, fulfilling their punishment, while not knowing Focolars deceived them.

    I have another idea...
The way she is acting doesn't look like she is the one to call the shots, but perhaps AI left by Celestia to uphold their law.
That is why she didn't kill any traveler, but trapped one, and put the other to sleep... Cause two of them is too much and would disrupt the balance.
Also the way Focaloris did this is done in a very smart way to don't break the law until final moment, and then it was too late, cause sustainer can't punish her, cause she is dead...
And as for Neuvillete he is dragon, not human, and sustainer doesn't have jurisdiction over sovereign dragons...
The dragon in Inasuma is eliminated by archon not by sustainer, and when Divalin fought against the other dragon sustainer didn't intervene...
However in the past dragons have been harvested to create element cubes, but that was done by one powerful being, not by susteiner who is AI who is put there to oversee and sustain the laws...
Perhaps that being is on other planets busy with robbing and stealing power from them, while AI make sure that people of Tyvat will not take over...
I think that in the future we will join forces with Fatui and fight the warden (Sustainer of havenly principles) and break out of prison...

I think something is going on with Celestia also Celestia is the one who wanted the death sentence so they’re probably semi fine with it since Furina is fully Human now and the hydro archon has been put to death also I believe even though Neuvillette had his full power back I feel like he’s still weaker than the original hydro dragon due to the reincarnation into human form also I definitely agree the sustainer can’t interfere either due to injury and corruption or her being Ishtar and she can’t intervene due to some time thing

I don't think the descender just traveling around. There might be something, either planned or accidentally.I feels entity in teyvat so much powerful. Pretty impressive theory but there are some questions I'd like to raise.
Option 1: If SoHP is really currently on the recovery stage and many are aware about it, then it is the high time to attack and destroy the authority, no? Good ol battle tactic, attack when your enemy is weak. I'm sure Fatui and Abyss both can easily beat her considering Abyss is full of very powerful witches, who play with deadly creatures and then can even alter fate.
Option 2: If she's using us as bait then she must be aware of upcoming challenges, again these highly powerful creatures can destroy anything and what if we at the end join forces with them, this is gonna be a losing battle anyway. What makes her think we can help her to relinquish all these threats?
Lastly, there is another thing that bothers me the most, if both Fatui and Abyss have the same end goal then why are they not cooperating with each other? Most of the time we see when Abyss is intervening, Fatuis are nowhere to be seen and vice-versa.
