A lot of poeple draw the hole face in 2 hours... and they ask their self why are their drawing bad... u should put more time in ur drawing just like this professional artis do!
Valid point! It varies with style tho, and I guess some people work fast and still provide some epic results with realism-its honestly kind of shocking, with a lot of practice I've seen incredible things happen

U can use grids..
Because that’s the easiest part. It’s ALL about the filling in, colors, shading, highlights. That where his talent shines. Plus, by looking at the beginning sketch he probably uses a projector. My beginning images look exactly the same way and I use one. By the way, most photorealistic artists use them. You’ll never see them sketching the outlines usually. Anyway, this guy is my hero.

I’m so glad you’ve done this video! Can’t start to count how many people asked “why” it took so long!!!! Hard to tell someone who doesn’t draw or paint without sounding a little sarcastic. Great skills. I’m happy to see that you won’t use scrappers to achieve unrealistic highlights! So many do exactly that and nothing is further from reality than those super white highlights. There are times when lighting requires them but not every single piece of work should’ve them.
I do airbrush and never expected that those pencils could blend so well to accommodate color correction and subtle nuances in skin tones! I’m impressed that is possible to do it. I’ve been experimenting with digital more than ever but nothing compares to real paper or canvas, paint or pencil, and the shortcomings of each! It’s not the same feeling at all. I respect you and your determination to stay on track for so many years!
Somehow I feel he has a soul and life! congratulations on having the ability to capture the emotion of a moment and dump it on the sheet!

Johnny Beavers pretty sure u can find the picture on the internet and do the outlines
@@champagnepapi2660 trust me, photorealistic artists don’t usually freehand out the beginning sketch/outlines. Those lines I see are from using a projector. He could definitely do it, but it’s a waste of time. This guys skill is in the filling in part.

This is amazing.. I draw for a long time now, since i was young but i quitted because i got dissapointed then started again trying my best right now :D i draw especially cartoons because i am not good with realism.. The way you draw is so satisfying to see and learn from.. I have never been to an art school so i try to learn from other artists on the internet and observe in real life :)

This beyond incredible. Do you have any suggestions if books besides your videos that help with color layering/underpainting/coloring. I watch you but how do you know which colors to use and where for which circumstance. Will never be accomplished like you but would like to be seem improved from kindergarten. I use Prismacolors.
