I’m excited for Andor 2 way more than I have been for the other new stuff coming out. That 1st season of Andor was done so well. I can’t wait to see how they match or top that season as far as the storyline and the writing and the way the actors really embraced their roles.
Andor is so overrated. It's definitely not bad, but it's mid as hell

@@idiot_city5244 You have every right to your opinions of course! And to express them whenever you feel. I personally don’t agree with how you see the show, but that doesn’t mean anything more than that. They’re both just 2 different opinions. I respect that.
Maybe you don’t enjoy the depth and nuance of that series. Lots of people just like seeing flashy light sabers and simple to follow plot lines that are geared towards impressing children so they bother their parents to pay for Disney+? There’s nothing wrong with being that sort of fan. Star Wars started out to be for that kind of audience even.
But I also respect others that enjoy seeing the things that show a deeper side, maybe even a more “real” side of the story. Where you see everyday ordinary people doing extraordinary things. Small things, that eventually are the reason or lead to the reason of things we get in the movies. Some fans find it easier and more relatable watching something like that about Star Wars. Instead of the standard good guy fights bad guy stuff that is cool, but it isn’t “realistic” as far as how most people live in the Star Wars universe.
Like you said though, you’re not into it, but it’s not exactly like it’s bad either. It’s just not your thing. That’s cool. Nothing wrong with that. I’d be willing to bet that half the fan base, if not more, agrees with your perspective of the show more than mine. But there’s also a lot of fans that see it more in the way that I do also. 🤷🏻♂️
Neither of us are wrong of course. 😅. People just have different tastes in things. Nothing wrong with that at all. I totally respect your views on it, whether I agree with them or not. They’re still valid because liking the show or not liking it is really a subjective thing anyways. I do appreciate your comment for giving your thoughts on the show. 🙂

I also prefer Dawn of the Jedi. It sounds more in line with the biblical epic that they're teasing this movie to be.

That’s what I’m most excited about honestly! I’ve always wished they’d cover the eras before Phantom Menace, or even before the time where Bane made up the rule of two. It would be really cool to see dozens of Sith fighting against a bunch of Jedi. Like around the time of Malgus and the whole Sith Empire time period. That would be so cool to see, especially if it’s done right of course.
I’m with you though…any Old Republic stuff would be really cool in my opinion.

Dawn Of The Jedi is a much better title. It tell you what it's about. Jedy Prime is vague and actually forgettable with all other Star Wars content out there.
I wish they would look at some of the Marvel comics to pull storylines from. They did an epic one a few years back that spanned several Marvel Star Wars titles. it was "War of the Bounty Hunters" , it was about Boba Fett trying to get Solo's body to Jabba. Basically every Bounty Hunter in the galaxy plus the Rebel Alliance was trying to take Solo from him.

Rumor has it that there still is no script for Rey's movie. The storyline keeps getting revised. It is quite probable the movie will be the last filmed of the 3 scheduled.
Speaking as both transformers and Star Wars fan, it would be obvious optimus already had a light saber in the star saber and Megatron had the dark star saber. He was going to call it the dark saber but Disney called to sue him so he had to change the name to dark star saber. So much for death star saber.
I’m looking forward to see how the future is made via the film with Rey. Seeing her (and Finn) recreate the Jedi Order will be an interesting parallel with the initial creation of the Order in the past.
Could never find any fondness for Rey or Finn. Their characters were just too poorly written. Honestly I'm surprised they are bringing the characters into another movie

Jedi Prime sounds too sanitized to be a proper Star Wars movie title. I see it as nothing more than a working title and will change before release.

I'm not against pushing the Rey movie back, simply because 40 or even 50 year old Rey would be a more convincing Jedi Grand Master than a 30 year old Rey. But I like Rey. I want to see another Rey movie. Also,I'd love to see a married Rey and Fin dealing with Jedi kids who can telekinetically throw things at each other when they get in a fight.

The best rumour was a Total War game possibility as someone who has them all would gladly give up your kidneys for it.
But we have heard this kind of rumour before and there was a falling out in discussions with Creative and LF and it didn't happen.
Jedi Prime sounds very much like a Hasbro franchise but I think the Mangold film will disappear into thee sunset like a lot of LF projects we have been promised.
