@@Saucstyer With Brita's weapon pack, that "Evidence room" will be usually SO FILLED with guns, mags and ammo boxes/containers that the effort to HAUL all that shit will probably require a TRUCK or the vehicle Okosh truck mod to get a semi truck, attach a HUGE ASS TRAILER and then keep mule packing all the loot from there to the truck to then drive that ass back to base, i would say it would need half a day ONLY to move the goodies to the truck, then whatever time between the LV PD/Prison and your main base, also that place has a CRAPLOAD of zeds, so having guns (with Brita's silencers ofc) to clear the general area is a must do, maybe also haul planks and Nails or Logs and rope because i recommend WALLING all paths to the first armored door to ensure you can do the looting in peace, be wary you will likely need to kill some zeds in the evidence room as well as they usualy spawn there (the room is so large it's likely unavoidable)
A 'location' you missed are the random police roadblocks. There are typically two police cars blocking smaller roads, with weapons and ammo in the trunk, as well as several armed and armored police officer zombies near them. On a fresh start, the lights on the vehicles will be flashing, attracting nearby zombies, but these turn off on a reload of the game sadly, so you typically don't find them flashing anymore.

If you guys can't find sledgehammers for some reason (Sometimes game doesn't spawn them in the usual places) You can get carpentry up to 6, build a staircase to the roof of the gun store, build a window wall frame and put sheet rope down.
I don't know... I'm in debug mode and the roofs look open, but my character cannot drop down, for example, the surplus store near the LV mall. Neither do the zombies that came up the stairs. Maybe this has been changed?
One "fun" fact: technically, it WOULDN'T be unrealistic for a player to FIND a M134 Minigun in the Army Surplus store in 1993 KY as there are (IRL even) 14 PRE ASSAULT WEAPONS BAN M134s that CAN be purchased (all 14 are sadly IRL in the hands of people already, and it's gonna be pretty pricey to buy one from those people if they even are willing to sell it) and be owned legally. So yes, having a M134 with you in PZ isn't far fetched

Tip for newer players, you don't have to always "break through" the armoured doors inside the police stations. If you kill zombies inside the police station then there is a pretty good chance one of the zombies will drop a "House Key" this doesn't sound like much but it could very well be the house key to the entire police station which allows you to simply open those armoured doors. I believe but I'm not 100% you can also lure zombies into the police station, kill them and they will still sometimes drop the key.
You can break into the closed gun shops without a sledgehammer. Simply start a fire near the wall, wait until it burns down and than extinguish it. You can climb through burned walls with an E key. Great vid btw!)
But do have an extinguisher on you, or at least a few buckets of water, and be prepared to lose the entire shop because fire in PZ tends to quickly get out of control. Doing it while it rains may help to mitigate the damage. You may also build stairs and get in through the roof in some places (remember to add a rope so you can get back) You may also build a fence 1 block away from the wall - sprinting through the fence will cause you to jump and glitch through the wall.
AS someone said the Louisville prison/police station is FULL with weapons. The buildings are all connected on the first floor with glas bridges. The storage is on the southern building first floor. It does not even look like a weapon chamber but the metal shelves are full with weapons and stuff.
One thing is that crates tend to hide from the map viewer that you are using. Several military and wooden crates are in various locations shown here, but hide in the corners. Oh and also, some of the locations have a 2nd floor that contains the bulk of the armory and guns/ammo. Take for example, the evidence room of the Louisville prison, or the Rosewood prison.
he forgot to add this in the mods section, but for Britas to work, you do need "Arsenal(26) GunFighter Mod" which is essentially the framework and foundation Britas is built on, so to run Britas, you do infact need this. other than that, great video, missed a few locations, might keep them a secret though ;)

I feel like you should be able to propane torch those metal gates instead of only the sledgehammer. Literally just cut a hole big enough for you to get through, like a window looking cut when you complete the task.

one location thats good is a building that I think was a hospital or something that was converted into a sort of outpost, with a large room full of lockers containing guns, ammo, and military clothing in Louisville
I stumbled into the Westpoint police station during a zombie killing spree by mistake. I almost didn’t think there was anything worth my time in there, when a small horde busted down that first down and came after me (geez, wonder what they were all doing in there) After dispatching them, I went to check out the door because the keypad had initially caught my attention for the stupid reason. Upon seeing the whole door was smashed broken, I began to mourn that very unique keypad (I did say stupid 😅) when the lockers in the next room caught my eye finally. Finally putting two and two together and realizing what luck I had, I dismantled that final door and hallelujah :)

Edit - I'm working on a part 2 so make sure to suggest anywhere I missed down below! I am also aware I missed a big armoury in the Louisville prison, so my bad on that :)
An issue on it is that you find the wrong guns in the wrong places, like in the police armoury we shouldn't be able to get fully automatic experimental firearms, but rather shotguns, pistols, and semi auto rifles.
for the rosewood prison it’s actually not very hard to get into the armory with melee because it’s right near the entrance, i would recommend doing it that way because unless you have high aiming skill you’ll have to use shotguns and that bring in so many that it turns a one day activity into several

A good note is that most of these doors can be bypassed with a key. Make sure it's one of the red ones though as those seem to be the only ones that work 100% of the time
if anyone's wondering, there's another armory in the research facility, it's not as bad as he says it is. There's a bigger room further in that has 4 military lockers and a military crate filled with guns and ammo, it's still probably not worth going there because of how many zombies there are tho.
@@Saucstyer Yep. Me and my friend learned that the hard way, we used thousands of rounds of ammo to clear out the base and got at most a few hundred back.
There is a fair amount of guns and ammo in the Scenic Grove Trailer Park in Riverside. In my playthrough which you can watch I've found 2 m14 rifles with their respective magazines and ammo, 1 double barrel shotgun with shells and 1 m9 pistol with respective magazines and ammo. That includes looking in the registration office in addition to the trailers. I haven't even explored the whole park so I'll show everyone what else I find.
It's my favourite spot. First shopping trip after I get my initial base a bit fortified and stocked up. Just make sure you have a van to carry all the loot. Also a good idea to have as many jerry cans as possible. That gas station across the way is also pretty easy to clear, so may as well grab as much gas as you can. A two for one shopping trip! The only problem is? That area is still unavailable in multi-player for some reason. Which makes me sad.
There's a shooting range and a hunting lodge south on the way to Louisville near valley point ; also Louisville i believe has a 3rd police station located in a road between the 2 gunshops there next to a supermarket which is smaller than them but also less Zombies to easier guns

Was coming here to say this. Its a great little stop over when moving from Westpoint to Louisville. Also from there if you follow the road towards the motel outside of Louisville, using a sledgehammer to break into the military fencing there a several military areas within the fencing itself. A watchtower in a burnt out area has lockers and guns/ammo. A tent area with the same. More back towards the main border tent area there are three houses cleared out of their furniture etc sitting outside. They have military loot/guns etc in one and medical in another.
Highway gunstore is a favorite of mine as I usually start in Riverside. Low zombie count but lots of handguns, hunting rifles and shotguns and all the applicable ammo and lots of it.
the dixie army surplus store at 7:44 also has some crates on the right side of the back of the building which is FULL of ammo and when I say full I mean FULL. Also, there is a lot of stuff in this place like on the shelves on the left of the entrance where you can find some military backpacks, and on the back of the store, there is a shit ton of props to weapons, ammo, and weapons. there are almost no zombies in that area so I consider it the best place to loot at the start of the game.
something to add to this, is you can almost always find the key to the police station armories on police zombies that are in or around the police stations unless you go to it within like 2 minutes of spawning which NORMALLY isnt possible however i HAVE spawned inside the rosewood police station which like key (b)locked me...
My personal reccomendation is the Military Surplus at Doe Valley 7:45. Such a little place with so much stuff. It has even more stuff now and is so easy to get to. You also have a Mechanic, Medical center and Gas Station. Everything you need in just one place. Quite easy to access and clear, I now usually set my base and as soon as I want guns I go there first. Then you can use everything you find there to go clean other places. I do reccomend it just for looting though. Although I guess it depends on playstyle and what you want.
Army surplus store northwest of Rosewood. Much much better than rosewood prison or police station. You can get boxes and boxes of ammo and rifles. I use vanilla firearms expanded, and got myself a M16, AK47, SPAS12 shotty, MP5 SMG, and a lot of pistols, hunting rifles and attachments. Also great clothing and survival items with a working military truck outside. It was awesome.
theres a place on the map which is a breaking bad reference stacked with guns, ammo, and lots and i mean LOTS of coveralls and more you could setup a base there but the main issue is that there is typically like 2 pieces of food
the brita's pack is so fun until you get to Rosewood and you start finding 9/10 zombies having guns and ammo and 8/10 of said same zombies having Anti-Depressants and beta blockers lmao
I just realized something, is that if your careful, you could burn down like, one wall, if you light a wall on fire, and essentially break in that way, no sledge hammer needed.
For all of these places i think the best approach is to go to a corner of it with a sledgehammer and break a wall then just run in, grab some guns and ammo, load up your trunk, and skedaddle.
I am in Muldraugh, I had discovered the police station through this video, I walked there, I found ammunition, a pistol and a shotgun, then walking, very shiny with my new toy I found two patrol cars, in one of them there was the same shotgun but in better condition , I was like -_- P.D: The two patrol cars were just crossing the street and turning the corner, I didn't see them because of a high fence lol
the louisville prison isnt a bad gun spawn if you go upstairs if you go upstairs to the side where the bridge is there is a massive armory with multiple gun lockers and a fuck ton of shelves usually packed with guns and ammo with only 2 security doors having to be removed to enter but since its a building finding a key on a corpse to unlock it is easy and the doors can be dismantled with a screw driver and hammer
Another location in Louisville for gun loot is a mounted police unit just north of the outskirts police department you showed. Go up into the park, into the building that has a center opening with several doors, and behind one of those doors is a few gun lockers and shelves.
if you can't get a sledge, you can try a more risky method, use a Molotov on the ground near the wall, once the wall catches, use an extinguisher to put it out, you can then hop through the wall rubble.
You missed the other place on the Louisville military roadblocks, it's like a U that fell on it's side on the left side of the road. Most of the buildings are comms and med stations, but there's at least 2 sections of that U building that have TONS of good guns/ammo packed in crates.
I'm a new player, and one place that I found that was not listed was the Isolated Forest House right next to Muldraugh and the train station. it has two gun cabinets and no zombies.
Dixie Army Surplus i found it on my travels to find a sleagehammer. and gosh i whish i hade more storage on my truck for all the guns and ammo i got from it was crazy, and i thing i need atlest 4x more storage to get the rest left there. and all i hade to get in was a screwdriver and all that loot was mine to take. and now 1 day after i find that place diss vidoe is recommende to me and i get to hear it is a great place to find guns. to bad i didnt find that hammer for that wood made it the best trade off ever
well the self-storage near riverside have 1-2 gun locker. the first one is the office that have little room that need go through armour door the next one is on storage room with white bed that cover with blood on floor // on my play that room is open and have gun locker if you start your new world and not found it not my fault:D
in dixie army surplus the crates in the back also can have a bunch of guns in them. i usually find more guns in those crates than elsewhere in that store
Ok so kieron was a bad sourse for the rose wood military base lol. So i found out that most of the guns are actually found in the receptionist area and not in the armoury. Its really weird. But yeah, brilliant video

The Louisville prison has actually one of the best amounts of guns, it's located on the second floor. Theres metric fuck tons of shelves with guns and ammo, as well as several shelves and lockers. Its easily one of the best spots if you're looking for just raw guns and ammo.
!! VERY GOOD MOD !! There is a mod that lets you blowtorch those metal gates with your propane torch/welding mask, doesn't take too long and if you got a buddy covering you while you blowtorch the gates it's a piece of cake. Just as easy and safe as using a sledge, but a lot easier to acquire the needed items.
When you choose the police officer occupation and you spawn at the police station you generally will spawn in with the key for all the doors so yeah, gun fun early on :D
If you don't have a sledgehammer, axe or crowbar to break down the doors, you can look in the boot of police cars which spawn outside police stations, but also you can randomly find 2 police cars parked across roads, they also usually spawn police officers with weapons and vests. Boarded up houses and farms will also often have guns and survivor cars can have a shotgun and ammo in a duffelbag in the boot
me and my brother are definitely going to be hitting all these locations we have a bunker stocked full of weapons, ammo, and food already. and like 6 generators its fucking insane XD
I remember that I went to Dixie army surplus in one of my first runs and it was unbelievably packed with zeds. It may just seem like a lot cuz I was new to the game but it was enough to get me killed. At least my next character got hella lot of stuff. That place is amazing

Getting more 308 and 9mm from the police station in west point was a breath of fresh air. I screwed up trying to get to the farm outside of town. So for you noobs out there don't let urban focused zombie settings fool you. They out there 😳 Gonna try and make it back to west point and set up in the dock house as planned

You can disassemble security doors with a screwdriver and high enough skill. I've done it to some security doors in the U-Store It Office across from the Scene Grove Trailer Park in Riverside. Also can you break down gun store security doors/gates with an axe? That's the strongest melee weapon I have at the moment.
I think they can only be destroyed using a sledgehammer, as it is the only melee(to my knowledge) which has the option ‘destroy’, then you select the hi lighted tile you want to destroy.
When I started playing that game, I spawned in Riverside near the police station. I was happy to finally use guns as I, at that time, wasn't familiar with them...Turns out after breaking the door to the armory I was greeted with two packs of ammo, a pencil and bleach...To this day I still don't know what the hell happened 🤷♀😂
Yeah sadly sometimes the armouries can be almost empty or have pretty useless stuff. It all depends on how lucky you are. I just wanna know why bleach was in ur armoury spawn XD
How to Rob prison: Step 1: Blair horn in car and wait with a gun and axe when ur ammo is gone Step 2: get lucky with helicopter and have hundreds swarm u and run away after ur axe breaks Step 3: break ur leg and return to the prison with an axe and a little ammo Step 4: kill endless zombies Step 5: sleep Step 6: Blair horn and kill the surprise horde hiding in the prison from heli day Step 7: finally can loot armory. And yes this happened to me and I’m still alive right now lmao
i once found a machete and an m16 in the same army surplus, i got so lucky but there was not that much ammo (1 or 2 boxes, but i went somewhere else i forgot and i got a couple more boxes)

Always my go to strategy, especially since sledgehammers can sometimes be a hassle to find. Especially handy in places like the rosewood prison.

There's a small army outpost / barracks with clothing and foot lockers just North of Rosewood.
Thank you for this vid. It really took my vanilla game to a whole new fun level. The mods really helped make the game less boring finding the same items.
A good note is that most of these doors can be bypassed with a key. Make sure it's one of the red ones though as those seem to be the only ones that work 100% of the time

if anyone's wondering, there's another armory in the research facility, it's not as bad as he says it is. There's a bigger room further in that has 4 military lockers and a military crate filled with guns and ammo, it's still probably not worth going there because of how many zombies there are tho.

@@Saucstyer Yep. Me and my friend learned that the hard way, we used thousands of rounds of ammo to clear out the base and got at most a few hundred back.
The rosewood military base has been updated and has more loot now. Perfect place to raid if you’re ok with a little off-roading

There is a fair amount of guns and ammo in the Scenic Grove Trailer Park in Riverside.
In my playthrough which you can watch I've found 2 m14 rifles with their respective magazines and ammo, 1 double barrel shotgun with shells and 1 m9 pistol with respective magazines and ammo. That includes looking in the registration office in addition to the trailers.
I haven't even explored the whole park so I'll show everyone what else I find.
At the army surplus store in the middle of nowhere there is also a back room with crates filled to the brim with more guns, ammo, and weapon mods.

It's my favourite spot. First shopping trip after I get my initial base a bit fortified and stocked up. Just make sure you have a van to carry all the loot.
Also a good idea to have as many jerry cans as possible. That gas station across the way is also pretty easy to clear, so may as well grab as much gas as you can.
A two for one shopping trip!
The only problem is? That area is still unavailable in multi-player for some reason. Which makes me sad.

There's a shooting range and a hunting lodge south on the way to Louisville near valley point ; also Louisville i believe has a 3rd police station located in a road between the 2 gunshops there next to a supermarket which is smaller than them but also less Zombies to easier guns

Was coming here to say this. Its a great little stop over when moving from Westpoint to Louisville. Also from there if you follow the road towards the motel outside of Louisville, using a sledgehammer to break into the military fencing there a several military areas within the fencing itself. A watchtower in a burnt out area has lockers and guns/ammo. A tent area with the same. More back towards the main border tent area there are three houses cleared out of their furniture etc sitting outside. They have military loot/guns etc in one and medical in another.

Highway gunstore is a favorite of mine as I usually start in Riverside. Low zombie count but lots of handguns, hunting rifles and shotguns and all the applicable ammo and lots of it.
There are military houses that have lots of ammo and guns too and the military checkpoint is great!
the dixie army surplus store at 7:44 also has some crates on the right side of the back of the building which is FULL of ammo and when I say full I mean FULL. Also, there is a lot of stuff in this place like on the shelves on the left of the entrance where you can find some military backpacks, and on the back of the store, there is a shit ton of props to weapons, ammo, and weapons. there are almost no zombies in that area so I consider it the best place to loot at the start of the game.
our server is set to respawn loot every 4 days, but when we came back after like 2 weeks of in-game time, the store did not respawn loot at all :(
something to add to this, is you can almost always find the key to the police station armories on police zombies that are in or around the police stations unless you go to it within like 2 minutes of spawning which NORMALLY isnt possible however i HAVE spawned inside the rosewood police station which like key (b)locked me...

My personal reccomendation is the Military Surplus at Doe Valley 7:45.
Such a little place with so much stuff. It has even more stuff now and is so easy to get to.
You also have a Mechanic, Medical center and Gas Station.
Everything you need in just one place. Quite easy to access and clear, I now usually set my base and as soon as I want guns I go there first. Then you can use everything you find there to go clean other places.
I do reccomend it just for looting though. Although I guess it depends on playstyle and what you want.
Army surplus store northwest of Rosewood. Much much better than rosewood prison or police station. You can get boxes and boxes of ammo and rifles. I use vanilla firearms expanded, and got myself a M16, AK47, SPAS12 shotty, MP5 SMG, and a lot of pistols, hunting rifles and attachments. Also great clothing and survival items with a working military truck outside. It was awesome.

theres a place on the map which is a breaking bad reference stacked with guns, ammo, and lots and i mean LOTS of coveralls and more you could setup a base there but the main issue is that there is typically like 2 pieces of food
the brita's pack is so fun until you get to Rosewood and you start finding 9/10 zombies having guns and ammo and 8/10 of said same zombies having Anti-Depressants and beta blockers lmao

I just realized something, is that if your careful, you could burn down like, one wall, if you light a wall on fire, and essentially break in that way, no sledge hammer needed.
For all of these places i think the best approach is to go to a corner of it with a sledgehammer and break a wall then just run in, grab some guns and ammo, load up your trunk, and skedaddle.

I am in Muldraugh, I had discovered the police station through this video, I walked there, I found ammunition, a pistol and a shotgun, then walking, very shiny with my new toy I found two patrol cars, in one of them there was the same shotgun but in better condition , I was like -_-
P.D: The two patrol cars were just crossing the street and turning the corner, I didn't see them because of a high fence lol

Also you can "burn" your way though with a corpse or a campfire. Just make sure to extinguish it before everything catches on fire.

the louisville prison isnt a bad gun spawn if you go upstairs if you go upstairs to the side where the bridge is there is a massive armory with multiple gun lockers and a fuck ton of shelves usually packed with guns and ammo with only 2 security doors having to be removed to enter but since its a building finding a key on a corpse to unlock it is easy and the doors can be dismantled with a screw driver and hammer
Another location in Louisville for gun loot is a mounted police unit just north of the outskirts police department you showed. Go up into the park, into the building that has a center opening with several doors, and behind one of those doors is a few gun lockers and shelves.

The Farming Shop in Riverside also has some gun displays which are decent to loot

There is a little meth lab in Muldraugh near the isolated house, downwards towards the train tracks. There's a bunch of guns there for free.
i always get a gun from the west point police station, its usually a shotgun and m9 or a rifle and m9
if you can't get a sledge, you can try a more risky method, use a Molotov on the ground near the wall, once the wall catches, use an extinguisher to put it out, you can then hop through the wall rubble.
in the louisville gun store you can burn a zomboid corpse to get rid of the wall on the side to get in
You missed the other place on the Louisville military roadblocks, it's like a U that fell on it's side on the left side of the road. Most of the buildings are comms and med stations, but there's at least 2 sections of that U building that have TONS of good guns/ammo packed in crates.
I'm a new player, and one place that I found that was not listed was the Isolated Forest House right next to Muldraugh and the train station. it has two gun cabinets and no zombies.

Dixie Army Surplus i found it on my travels to find a sleagehammer.
and gosh i whish i hade more storage on my truck for all the guns and ammo i got from it was crazy, and i thing i need atlest 4x more storage to get the rest left there. and all i hade to get in was a screwdriver and all that loot was mine to take. and now 1 day after i find that place diss vidoe is recommende to me and i get to hear it is a great place to find guns.
to bad i didnt find that hammer for that wood made it the best trade off ever
well the self-storage near riverside have 1-2 gun locker.
the first one is the office that have little room that need go through armour door
the next one is on storage room with white bed that cover with blood on floor

in dixie army surplus the crates in the back also can have a bunch of guns in them. i usually find more guns in those crates than elsewhere in that store
They do tend to have a decent amount of guns, i found a mini gun in the crates at the back of the Louisville army surplus.

The Louisville prison has actually one of the best amounts of guns, it's located on the second floor. Theres metric fuck tons of shelves with guns and ammo, as well as several shelves and lockers. Its easily one of the best spots if you're looking for just raw guns and ammo.
!! VERY GOOD MOD !!
There is a mod that lets you blowtorch those metal gates with your propane torch/welding mask, doesn't take too long and if you got a buddy covering you while you blowtorch the gates it's a piece of cake. Just as easy and safe as using a sledge, but a lot easier to acquire the needed items.
My first time in rosewood, I actually spawned in the building and the doors were unlocked.

When you choose the police officer occupation and you spawn at the police station you generally will spawn in with the key for all the doors so yeah, gun fun early on :D
If you don't have a sledgehammer, axe or crowbar to break down the doors, you can look in the boot of police cars which spawn outside police stations, but also you can randomly find 2 police cars parked across roads, they also usually spawn police officers with weapons and vests. Boarded up houses and farms will also often have guns and survivor cars can have a shotgun and ammo in a duffelbag in the boot
what's funny is that that container in the Louisville military checkpoint is full of MEDICAL supplies instead of weapons on my run lol.

Also recommend for police stations is the lockers can have duffel bags which contain guns. Same for police cars and police zombies.

I remember that I went to Dixie army surplus in one of my first runs and it was unbelievably packed with zeds. It may just seem like a lot cuz I was new to the game but it was enough to get me killed. At least my next character got hella lot of stuff. That place is amazing

Just to get to Rosewood prison armory i needed to kill 800 zeds almost died like a dozen of times I think it's much better to just use melee weapons.

You can disassemble security doors with a screwdriver and high enough skill.
I've done it to some security doors in the U-Store It Office across from the Scene Grove Trailer Park in Riverside.
Also can you break down gun store security doors/gates with an axe? That's the strongest melee weapon I have at the moment.
I think they can only be destroyed using a sledgehammer, as it is the only melee(to my knowledge) which has the option ‘destroy’, then you select the hi lighted tile you want to destroy.
When I started playing that game, I spawned in Riverside near the police station. I was happy to finally use guns as I, at that time, wasn't familiar with them...Turns out after breaking the door to the armory I was greeted with two packs of ammo, a pencil and bleach...To this day I still don't know what the hell happened 🤷♀😂
Yeah sadly sometimes the armouries can be almost empty or have pretty useless stuff. It all depends on how lucky you are. I just wanna know why bleach was in ur armoury spawn XD

How to Rob prison:
Step 1: Blair horn in car and wait with a gun and axe when ur ammo is gone
Step 2: get lucky with helicopter and have hundreds swarm u and run away after ur axe breaks
Step 3: break ur leg and return to the prison with an axe and a little ammo
Step 4: kill endless zombies
Step 5: sleep
Step 6: Blair horn and kill the surprise horde hiding in the prison from heli day
Step 7: finally can loot armory.
And yes this happened to me and I’m still alive right now lmao
i once found a machete and an m16 in the same army surplus, i got so lucky but there was not that much ammo (1 or 2 boxes, but i went somewhere else i forgot and i got a couple more boxes)
nothing more painful than finding a god tier weapon with no ammo laying around lmao. lucky you went to that other place
