Beating Pittsburg ending a 51 yr. road p/o drought for the Brown's. Now! He's a Buc. Thanks to Jason.
I think we made the right moves. Remember they aren't done yet. Wires needs to be resigned and they have 8.7 mil to do so and pick up another player. Mini camp is over training camp is about to begin so we will see if we need something or wait until free agent signing comes to a close to pick someone up. I would opt for the later because you never know about injuries.
Ok for the 3 games Houston our defense walked them down the field in under 56 seconds. They had to take their time at that or we would have had time to score again. Atlanta we tied the game around 1 min left our defense walked them in for the tie breaking score. I will have to go back and see but I think it was the lions game as well. All lapses on our Defense. In the playoffs it was the Coach not calling a timeout to give us time to tie it. Whether it was a brain fart because of the 8 point lead or whatever the case we had a chance to tie it. That would have given us a chance to win it. So one could say 4 games were out of Bakers hands. Could you imaging the ire of the press if we had won 11 or 12 regular season games and played S.F for the conference championship win or lose we had a viable chance. So yes Baker is well worth the salary he got. Yes some players on d had to go.
Let's not forget the three games the defense gave away after taking the lead or tying the game with under 1 min left.
