Bob is that older brother that most people, including parents, kinda lose hope for. But despite his erratic behavior, Richie always looked up to him. Bob clearly ruined Richie's performance, but when Richie saw Bob get jumped by two guys he went and defended his older brother.
Yeah that eye banter when his brother came, he was watching him while he was playing and jumped in maybe because he already knew.

My mom's kids from her first marriage are like this. They get into trouble with the law and always blamed someone else for it and blamed my poor mom for not giving them money or something ridiculous. My mom passed unexpectedly a few years ago and I have decided to stay far away from them.

Actually, the “jealousy” stemmed from an early childhood trauma. Bob went one way, but Ritchie had another. Very sad how it divided them but the love was there.

Idk if anyone spots this but I thought it was a little clever of the director to put Rosie and Donna side by side considering Ritchie was soft on her at the beginning of the movie. When he blows that kiss you can see Rosie look at donna like ohhhh you're the girl he was waiting for before the show.
