They should be playing this on the telly in Northern Ireland at the moment. All the MOT centers in NI are so backlogged that you can't tax your vehicle with an expired MOT. And there's no leeway with tax.

I like the way they have the Child Catcher dancing at the end. :D The original movie is one of my favouties, and this commercial is priceless.

Ironic thing is Chitty counts as a vintage of course. So actually she'd be tax exempt! 😂
Putting aside everyone's dislike for road clampers, this is actually one of the most cleverest adverts ever made.

Ironically, because the CCBB car used here was built before 1973 it would've been exempt from road tax/ veichle excise duty.
Still gets clamped and towed if you don’t tax it though.

As entertaining as this advertisement is, it doesn’t make sense. Chitty would be exempt from road tax due to old age.
Wouldn't apply to cars like Chitty So in that case why does the ad say no exceptions? Its bonkers but funny.
