The fact that he admits he does it for money is something I love about him. Every actor is scared to admit they like the money they received. He isn't, tho. And yet, he is able to stay the humble, down to earth guy he is.

I think because he admits that, he is able to stay grounded. because he'll never deceive himself.
I remember a professor at university once asked us why we want to be designers. Everyone was like "I want to shape the aesthetics of the future." "define new trends." and so on. When he called on me i simply said "I like to be paid well for the things i like to draw."
We all just need to survive in this money driven world so striving to get paid well is perfectly normal, in my opinion.
@@KaySan666 I agree with you. Let's be honest, if you were an actor as successful as Henry or many others are, would you not like the money? Everyone likes it, but there is a lot of backlash that comes for admitting it. Which sucks. It should be normalised.

He is exactly what I envisioned Geralt to look like as I read the books. And he portrayed him in ways I never imagined. He will always be my Geralt.
Except for the tiny detail that I've never envisioned Geralt looking like a bodybuilder, I totally agree. 😆 The face and the mannerism is spot on. And the voice. And that dry humor. And the stoicism - one thing I only just realized and completely love is that Henry is literally acting out Geralt's slow heartbeat. Even his blinking is unnaturally slow!
Two things: It was Zack Snyder, not Jack Snyder. And it was Man of Steel where he got cast as Superman, and not BvS.
Yeh, and literally didn't name Man of Steel (his best film arguably, and his break out role) when naming the films he's starred in... nearly 3 million subs? How?

100% Henry Cavill did a good job in playing Geralt of Rivia in The Witcher. He nailed the character even deep down to the smallest aspect, I guess that is no surprise coming from the man himself who played The Witcher game and knew the character inside out.

Henry Cavil does his work with dedication. I have, at the least so far, never been close to being disappointed with his part in movies. The movie may not go as well as it's supposed to but Henry's work is never anything less than amazing.

The only thing I didn't know was about Ben the Bat. I agreed with the "rapist comment," he just worded it badly. He meant that he didn't want to approach a female and later have her accuse him of rape for money or blackmail. I understand this, because there are females. These are not real women nor ladies (hence I used the term female), but it is easier for him to tell the difference if he works around or with them-a little lazy but I get it, especially since he went to an all boys school limiting his exposure to the opposite sex. As far as his portrayal of Geralt, I thought he did great except for ONE line where I thought I saw Henry and not Geralt. I think he gets better with every project, and I've been watching him since "Count of Monter Cristo." I also think he is honest in a way that others just don't appreciate. Who doesn't appreciate first class or being wealthy?

This talanted actor is supposed to voice audiobooks, has a beautiful baritone. I get known recently about him after watching The Tudors. The roles of courageous but at the same time sensual men are very suitable for him. Нas good facial expressions and movements coordination!

That part about the money is so true, I mean I'm not materialistic or nor do I spend alot or have tons of money but being able to walk around the mall and see something I like and just simply buy it is a very surreal experience haha not even with material things, even just walk around a mall and go eat somewhere you've never been to cause you think it's expensive or just not doing anything at night and decide to go bar hopping alone is an incredible feeling.

Henry say's in many interviewes that he already had a deal with producers (his agents was making a deal) for the role of Superman when the phone rigned, so it isn't like that he almost missed the opportunity of a life time. It's more funny that he didn't pick up the phone from director because he needed to end the game XD
Check your facts first. Someone asked him about this rumour before and he explained that it wasn't true that he almost didn't get the role when Snyder called him. That call was just to tell him he got the role, picking it up or not wouldn't change a thing. Plus, Jack Snyder? Really? It's Zack Snyder.
Henry is perfectly cast for the role of Geralt in the Witcher. I can't imagine any other actor in that role. I can tell he is doing his own stunts as well. Please keep this show running for years and don't even think about killing off Geralt. Love him! 🐢😘❤

It was twilight, not Harry Potter. The role was for Henry, but when they were ready to fully cast, Henry was too old.
Angie Cox it was actually both. He auditioned for the role of Cedric Diggory in Harry Potter but unfortunately lost out to Robert Pattinson. He never auditioned for the role of Edward in twilight, he was just Stephanie Meyers’ personal choice. But you’re right, by the time the movie came around he was too old for the part so he “unfortunately” “lost out” again to Robert! 😂
