    yes sub tropical jet stream brings western disturbance to India but
    sub tropical jet stream is formed in latitude of 27°- 30° in the boundary of Headley and Ferrel cell
    but the diagram you are presenting shows that it is formed between the boundary area of Ferrel and polar cell where as the jet stream to be formed between these two ( F & P cells ) is that of polar jet stream
    so my request to the team is to plz clarify my doubts
    I may be wrong but I want to know where I am going wrong

      @VikramSingh-ks5te Před 9 měsíci

      Here it means that winds which are blowing parallel to isobars are nothing but perpendicular in context of isobars . And because at equator there is no coriolis force now due to rotation of earth from West to east winds blow parallel.

      Thank you for your comment! You are right, when we ride a bike, we must increase the speed. However, we can also use friction force to slow down. When there is a barrier, the wind speed will slow down due to the friction between the air and the surface of the barrier. We hope this explanation helps! Thank you for watching our videos.

    • @conqueror7311

      Actually land is solid, so insolation doesn't penetrate inside, warms the upper surface faster
      But in the sea or in oceans, the sun light penetrate inside covers the more area ...takes time to get warm ....
      That is why when land amd sea release heat, the land takes less time as compared to sea..

    2:33.55 .. If Cyclone cross the equator, then Pressure Gradient becomes perpendicular to Isobars because Coriolis force is zero. And therefore, circulatory wind dissipates. ----This is my Understanding
    But in lecture, it mentioned, wind(Geostropic Wind) blow llrl to Isobars. And, cyclone dissipate due to Coriolis force is zero at equator.
    My Doubt is
    If Wind(Geostopic Wind) below llrl to Isobars, then circulatory wind continues and cyclones to form and grow. Then how it dissipate cyclone?

      You are absolutely right, sir has made the same mistake many times in this chapter by saying wind blow parallel to isobars, actually winds blows perpendicular to isobars at the equator...
