    It's too bad the board, superintendent, or whoever made the rule you can't film inside the gates hasn't been flushed out by now. They should have realized your CZcams channel benefited not only you but also the cemetery. I always thought all the filming you did was done with respect.

    I’m a Muncie 4 speed guy and my guess is the oil is coming from the input shaft seal.

    Hey Bill you can get some UV oil leak detector dye and a blacklight pretty cheap on amazon, fill 'er up with dyed oil and all of your leaks will light up bright green. YT has some good videos that show how it works.

    Replaced a lot of clutch’s on cars so I don’t see how the tractor was even pulling with all the oil on the clutch and pressure plate. Good job, thanks for sharing the video looking forward for more!!

    Bill you have the tractor split in my honest opinion it would be a great time to replace anything that wears (thrust bearing, clutch plate, All seals etc) while you have it that far apart.. I did the same thing and only replaced the clutch plate and 18mths later I had to do it all again to replace the thrust bearing, that time I replaced everything

    • @billstmaxx
      @billstmaxx  Před 3 lety

      that was the plan. hopefully it’s not a total replacement

    you should have screwed in the 3 bolts where the pressure plate fingers are in line with to take the pressure off the flywheel before you removed the 6 mounting bolts it makes it easier to remove and reinstall the pressure plate and disk, that is a taper pin i believe it only goes one way

    • @billstmaxx
      @billstmaxx  Před 3 lety

      the new kit comes with the alignment pin

  • @anthonyyoung7344
    @anthonyyoung7344 Před 3 lety

    That fork has a roll pin that drives in and out not a bolt.

    Would the pilot shaft be leaking? Shouldn’t the inner housing be dry?

    You won't break the flywheel bolts loose without using an impact wrench bill.they are torqued in at anywhere from 50 to a 120 foot pounds of torque.

    Bill, you keep opening new cans of worms with each fix. What I would do is take the whole tractor apart, drive late at night to where you bought the tractor and dump it in his driveway, then leave.
