Watch along as I venture deep into the backcountry for the final ride of my 2023 season, and the filming for the remaining parts for my recent Reach Beyond Video Project.
What's next? I propose, "Reach Beyond Canada!" Try Alaska, specifically Thompson pass and Summit. Those are my old stomping grounds and the stuff you could do there with the new sleds would be mind bending. That and you could compete in the Iron Man Ski and Sno Go classic (look it up if you don't know what it is, probably a separate trip than the terrain seeking trip). The last time I went 20 years ago it was 30,000 people every year coming to Summit Alaska in RV's in the middle of nowhere to party and sled and it is centered around a race where you speed ski at 80+ down a mountain, then you are towed up the next hill by a sled at similar speeds and then down the next mountain to the finish. It is ridiculous and a ridiculous amount of fun. Only place I have seen an outdoor midnight wet T'shirt contest at -18F. lol The riding is as epic as the parties are though.
Ol Turkey rockin the vipers, launching a step down backflip, couldn’t get better
