Lil dumb why Hoshinas lacking vs bigger Kaiju, Like just make this man a pair of blades like he has but 6 Foot long swords and mans now gaming with the Big Kaiju… Only reason hes not got much to offer vs Big Kaiju is bc special made swords made for him are only like what 18 Inch Blades tops? Get this man those 80 Inch Kaiju Blades, 92% with Dual 6 Foot Heated Blades?
But Hoshina always training with that small sword tho. The different size might just stop him to used his Hoshina style and could make him weaker. He will become just a man who can swing a big sword, not the genius sword man of Hoshina clan anymore.
Like I could see bigger blades slowing him down more so than he is with smaller blades but slow him enough to be near ineffective? And Im not saying all the time like hed still have his smaller blades on him at all times for Kaiju hes best vs but in case of Larger Kaiju its least worth trying to be of some use vs bigger Kaiju for situations just like this, Granted this was rare time they came across larger Kaiju without Captain, But after this if I was Hoshina Id least try it to see if I could in case event like this ever happens again… Like if Shinomiya can lift and throw car with 1 hand at 46% Im not convinced Hoshina would be ineffective with bigger blades vs bigger Kaiju at 92%, And he doesnt really need drastic training to utilize bigger blades vs smaller blades, Theyre heavier sure and longer but hes already trained to dual wield blades, Like if he cant grab bigger longer blades and use them successfully with training he has then I question his skill with blades, If Mina can handle a Mega Canon and Shinomiya and 1 hand an SUV at 46% then without any additional training Im confident Hoshina could dual wield bigger blades effectively vs larger Kaiju, And again its only in rare case he finds himself vs larger Kaiju without Captain, Its least worth having just in case even if doesnt work out than not having bigger blades and no other option but death…
