Salute BMI hope your well brother.
Salute to you too, sir) I'm doing alright, thank you. Haven't been in the comments as much lately (I've been working quite a lot, and doing some spring cleaning at the dacha). Hope you have a good weekend!
@@SwapBlogRU Your a Hard working Guy and Without Your dedication This Channel wouldn't be the same.
Glad to hear you are well and Should you ever need a Hand. We as the Garage 54 Team Stand together✊
@@SwapBlogRU dude I am watching all the way from New York state and I'm very grateful to be able to watch these and understand what our wonderful Russian mechanics do.

@@tacomas9602 awesome) I actually lived in New York state for more than 10 years)
A stand up group of men, not cutting the accidental crises part of the video. It shows that things can AND do happen. The owner of the white car was great also, not making a huge spectacle out of such a minor incident. It's only proper to fix your mistake and move on. Like my Grandmother once told me before she passed, Your mistakes are a part of your Success.
White car guy probably like it’s just Vlad. He’s good for it . And rust will claim it back in a couple of decades
Very true! I thought the same thing, about how chill he was about it. If it would have been here in the US, people would already be calling a lawyer lol. And your grandmother must been very wise. 😎
One of my cousins went magnet fishing with one of those and it got stuck he tied it to his truck and ended up pulling a motorcycle frame its still one of his favorite story's to tell.
I saw a video with something similar, they got a magnet stuck on something so they tried using their truck and got it loose but it flew towards the truck. And stuck to the side of the truck and left a massive dent.
That's a pretty cool catch
You need a magnet to hold the driver's door shut 🤣
Use torque converters as a fluid coupling to drive wheels from the hub
How would they keep it from leaking is what I'm curious about
Vlad is just awesome👌 sorting out the damage they did..top class and in such a comedic way😂😂
lol How do I get a job at Garage 54? I'm a Mechanical engineer😆lol hire me😂😂
imagine, fucking around with wild ideas, you would be living you degree.
Magnets are strongest when being pulled straight off rather than when pushed sideways.
Yeah they needed construction where vertical movement is fully locked and magnets only hold in/out movement.
Could this be done with electro-magnets? Turn off the power, wheel disconnects type of a thing.
Post-theft remote car disabling system lol 😆
bye bye wheels.
Yeah. These permanent magnets on the outside and electromagnets on the inside. That way, you could attract or repel them at will.
It would be dangerous and useless, I think they should try it
Sure, but the amount of power needed would be a lot.
@@theFLCLguy just put another alternator and battery on the vehicle for the magnets.
Yes BMI translation do an amazing work translating , this and at the same time
entertainng us all with the funny acting , using different voices to express the
original video . Keep it going .
You guys is just amazing .
I was watching this video on the Russian channel and good damn the translation
from google is not good . But still im able to understand .
Guys keep up those cool crazy fun experiments .
Peace to you all .
Forgot to say - EVERY DAY IM LOOKING TO SEE IF ANY NEW VIDEO .
Peace Guys .
The word is mag-net, not maganet
When BMI Russian does a translation, they really do a translation. Such quality such satisfaction. What a service amazing.
one thing to take into consideration with magnets is if they are exposed to heat that can alter how they perform , also on the flip side if you super cool them with say liquid nitrogen or something they also take on very , very interesting properties.
I love this channel! I have an idea, of anyone wants to try. Make a Lada driven similar to a train! Connect the engine or transmission to a generator, and have electric motors at each wheel hub, and see if it'll drive that way! Of course there will need to be alot of electrical expertise, but I know you guys could pull it off. 😎
All 4 tires at once. Didn't even need a fancy quick release system.
Nascar idea
Magnet wheels aside... That is one INTERESTING looking vehicle!
Offering to detail that guy's car after you scuffed it was really sweet. My compliments to Vlad and the boys for not making a drama out of it and offering to make it good.
Next.... try to put wheels on the car using Super Glue 😂😂🤣
Well, I mean, it sounds like an experiment worth trying
@@tigerxra8515 definitely
I recently fell in love with this channel. Much love from USA.
Yes another great vid from Garage 54!🙂🙂 Yup was laughing so hard when the wheels went for a shit as they popped off & the two other wheels were gonzo as the two wheels rode off into the sunset! Fantastic vid! 🤣😆🤣😆🤣😆🤣
Indeed, it's better than in films with jalopies 😅.
🤣 No sooner had he said how well it was all going, and ALL four wheels came off 😆
The parked car did not look too bad?? Put a towel on the area, soak it in Hot water gently massage it back out. 👍👍
You blokes are the russian version of mythbusters and thats why i love this channel💯
1:34---MAGNET,,,,,,,,strong!,,,,,,,Like BULL!!!!!!!! LOL
Heeeey!!! lol its my favourite Russians😆😆 at it again doing all the crazy stuff the rest of us think up😂😂
Keep doing what you guys do👍 Support Garage 54 Guys so they can keep providing us with crazy entertainment ✊
Another case for
Magnet and Steel
The fantastic duo
I love it when you guys reuse things
living legends :) how they dealt with the damage, showing us.
Please never stop making content
absolutely love the content you provide
and thank you BMI for the interpretation
I really think it's awesome you fixed the car that the tire hit. You did much more than you should have but that's what's awesome.
More powerful magnets needed.
imagine using the electronic/magnetic industrial door locks so you can turn the magnetism on and off for a quick pitstop. may even have a better grip than the magnets that were used.. loving the experiments! hope they keep coming!
To remove the magnetic mounted wheels use a modified universal gear puller.
Up next, magnetic door latch
You guys always amaze me.
Some extension ideas to the groundbreaking research conducting in today's video:
• plastic cable ties would do an excellent job of holding the wheels on the hub. The big, thick ones might be best.
• install just ONE of the lug bolts? (throw the other 3 away) Those extra lug bolts are just for aesthetics, right?
• make aluminum lug bolts from melted soda cans. How will those hold up?
• 3D print some plastic lug bolts. Those should be super wonderful.
• wooden lug bolts? (Why the hell not?)
• cut all of the lug bolts halfway through. How long will they hold on the wheels while drifting, etc.?
Video idea (suggestion) : take a lada disc brake or drum brake and try to stop a giant flywheel with one of them. Torchering a brake should be interesting
I loved the way the wheels came off like a clown car, that was hilarious... :P
Can you do a shop tour and maybe introduce us to your crew!
Love your videos!
The fact that they stayed on for that long is awesome
With suction, the wheels get sucked back in by a greater vacuum after getting nudged out. With magnets, the pull force drops drastically with gap width and the magnets walk off.
glad. you did the suspention using them instead of springs with those magnets
10:35 SUPRISE TIRE ATTACK 👊👊
I used to do magnet fishing, one time my magnet got stuck to the metal reinforcements of the river bank. Due to the angle I couldn't pull it of with the rope, so I went back home and got my wet suit but when I got back my rope and grapple were missing, they couldn't get the magnet though 😂 I managed to get it off when in the water as I could pull it from an angle where it was weak.
I like how they say sorry for doinking your car with our experiment.
My first thought was, there must be a cover to prevent horizontal motion, the most power they have axial. But, how do you rip the wheels off if you have to?
Latches?
Use that long piece of all-thread as a jackscrew.
Just start doing some wild donuts.
In a competition „Who has the ugliest Lada version?“ you guys definitely win. Great video thanks
Not ugly.... unique!
when winter comes you should go drifting on ice with these magnet wheels! they seem very good! :P
seems like a good way to create an effect for a movie where you need the wheels to fall off
GOOD ONE GARAGE54,✌️😆😎🏴.
Thanks for sharing 👍😀
that's cool tech for a movie industry, not bad
Make magnet pistons and time the electromagnets on top to run the motor
Just when i think you guys can’t come up with something else you blow it out of the water lol 😂
wow this is really cool experiment
Great job, I love the way You start with na idea and go through whole process, even making changes, until reaching 107 % Success 🙂👍
This Channel shows the sky is the limit.
2:34 Hugo Boss perfume 😄
That lada you guys are running is sweet looking. Did it used to be a wagon? You notched the back of it? It looks awesome. I want one.
I'm trying to find a reference to it, but in the early 20th century, there was a car with a magnetic transmission. Not the Owens, this was an all magnetic transmission. I remember reading about it around 30 years ago, so my memory is rough, but it might be a fun "experiment".
always love what you do with cars😀
Replace suspension with solid pipes, use fat tyres and take a trip around town (track if you can)
I attached a spoiler to 2 fishing magnets and slapped it on my car. Actually works with my pair of 100lb magnets
What I'd like to see, is how good a job you made of fixing the unfortunate car! 🤡🤦😸
Man this man gives everything he have just to entertain us😃, God bless you man!😇 Sa that you could make these type of entertainment videos more and more 😃😃
Love the videos guys you should try and run a lada on paint thinners 🤣🤣
now use super glue lol
Project idea. For the brakes on a car, instead of disc or drum brakes use a clutch and pressure plate from a manual transmission for a braking system. Modifying the “clutch” and attaching it to the hub for a break system instead. A lot of hydraulic clutches operate just like brakes. You would have great surface area for stopping power but you might need to use a large wheel for clearance around the clutch? It depends on how big of clutch and pressure plate you want to use. There’s many ways you could do it, one would be to mount the clutch to the hub and the pressure plate to the wheel or vice versa.
Mini ute. Love it.
Still very cool experiment!
Excellent
the car has about 1 ton... therefore the side force when turning on the wheels can go up to 5 tons for sure... they never had a chance
If it doesn’t suck, it blows🤷♂️😏
that's what SHE said
Or it's Naturally Aspirated haha
hello garage 54 just wondering if you guys could make an episode on wooden wheel nuts to see how well they hold i think it will be 107 % success 👍
It wooden work
i think they are from Russia I know nothing about Russia I'm happy this is translated and dam they seem to have fun doing this kind of video
you should use the ones for locking doors for security-related places, having magnets like those security ones, TRY that!!!
Really Nice lol!
They have material handling magnets for industrial applications moving sheets of steel they hold as much as 4500 pounds each made for moving steel on factory floors 4500 pounds = 2041.166 Kilograms
I have an idea!: Use electromagnets, where the more engine speed, the more they magnet, having to keep the engine at the high rpm range to keep the wheels attatched!
Heck ya
This car is the literal embodiment of the word "shit box"
Congratulations for 666 subs!
Most likely the magnets popped off because of the lateral load as well as the positive attraction to ferrous cast iron rather than the steel plate.
Such an awesome and enjoyable video. I love it. Thank you for sharing, and thanks for all you do for us BMI Russian. Everyone have an awesomely epic day.
Vlad: Uh, I'll get it later
LOL
10:57----This "special operation" has gone south,,,,,,,,ABORT,,,,ABORT!!!!!!"
Love this gaise👍👍👋👋❤️❤️
I wonder if it would be any better if the magnets and mounts were in a star shape so that slippage when driving couldn't happen...
A friend invited me to go fishing and his grandfather had some 2 inch magnets to fish with. The only thing we caught for 2 hours was a tiny fishing hook😂
Please revisit the 4wd powered by a sideways transaxel. Your know what I'm talking about? A long time ago you did this. But, you were massively underpowered for the big vehicle you used. It really has potential.
Well done
Attach wheels with super glue!
Lol hilarious, would make a fun clown car in circus !
16:00 The roads in my country are far worse than this lovely piece of Autobahn, infact we don't have roads, instead we have craters pretending to be roads.
If it gets STUCK stuck, you can heat up the magnet to weaken the magnetic field, this will kill the magnet though
HEY garage 54..
im WAN from MALAYSIA , i really like every video that you make.. can u do super charge but using aircond magnet.. if we want to use supercharge we just turn it on..
support from MALAYSIA
Try this: put magnets where the rear brake shoes are located, so that they will turn the brake drum when the magnets spin. Connect the magnets to the differential shafts, put the transmission in high gear, and see if the magnets will "motor" the brake drums and drive the car!
I'm thinking similar to how a torque converter works, but using magnetism instead of fluid?? Interesting 🤔
So like centrifugal clutch, but instead of centrifugal force it uses magnets? Magnet clutch.
Imagine using one of those magnets as a pressure plate for a clutch. Trying to push the clutch in would be impossible
your good and building and breaking stuff
You guys should try to use Nokia phones and rods for the motor see how they hold up
Hahaha!!!😂 Or Nokia phone brake pads?
I know this is an older video, do you think electro magnets will work better?
still waiting for that better exhaust flame thrower. just an aerated tip to work.
