I vaguely remember the dance tent at glasto 95 when they played before Carl Cox. The tent was jammed and it was one of the most intense experiences of my life. I was on mushrooms and I was dancing like a loon. Completely absorbed in the music. Carl Cox was brilliant also but I came for Eat Static. Phenomenal. I've seen them many times after this including the best gig that was the lost vagueness at Glasto 2004. That gig was just Top Stuff. Amazing band. Shame they split. Haven't seen the solo incarnation. Hope it's as good. Luv and Peace.
Yes same here 😄I was a student at the time invited out by my late friend Paul who can be seen dancing with long deadlocks. A fantastic feast of new sounds and colour in an awesome venue.. I got eyed up by a female bowie in a leather waistcoat who peeled the label off her beer bottle. I ran away stupidly. Up until dawn chilling with Paul. One of those nights.. Unforgettable ❤️
I have vivid fragments of memory of seeing Eat Static at the lost vagueness at Glastonbury. It was around 2002/2003. The place was rammed. It was the most intense live performance I've ever experienced. It was amazing. Eat Static have been my favourite live at since the dance tent at Glasto in 95. Absolutely epic live.
Back here and away to post exactly the same post. Godamn they were amazing live. I haven't seen any of the the solo Eat static gigs. Are they as good? Luv and Peace.
+Garry Andrews - Big up 4 The Rocket 'Dog's' in '93 - i even forgive the security for 'confiscating' my weed outside in the courtyard by the pond. First time I saw Underworld was there; Mick introduced us but i was way to trollied to say anything and just grinned like a gurning moron, happy days........
i loved the 15 ft tall aliens on stilts at the phonix feastival ..that was one great set up ..sound and effects ..i even had the pleasure to tell Micheal Dog this ..seriously thou it was Fucking MEGA ..Loved it.. >:-)
i'm just searching for some footage from this year. they were played at rex club / france, and it was showed on the legendary music channel MCM. anyone?

Only gig I think ever, with the combination of Banco either before or after, where my ears actually bled. Happy war wounds though.
