I put the 2017 warriors with Kevin Durant in the 90's NBA/jordans era in NBA 2K23, with the goal of finding out "what if the 2017 warriors played the 1996 bulls"
1996 bulls didn't just have Rodman, they had a very deep roster, Ron Harper at point guard who was an all defensive team player, as well as Tony Kukoc and Steve Kerr off the bench.
Possibly, the Warriors could win, but i wouldnt count on them shooting well. Generally those Bulls tended to have more trouble against teams with good centers But, the most interesting part would be the inevitable Draymond Green vs Dennis Rodman brawl.
The game was slower back then and more physical. 90's defenses would chase those shooters off the three point line and force them to take high percentage shots. At the other end, 90's offenses wore you down with physical half court basketball. The 2004 Pistons would demolish the Warriors in a series, and they weren't even from the 90's. The 2000's Three Peat Lakers would also demolish the Warriors. Everyone gets caught up in the three point theatrics and fireworks. A three point shot is 45% a bad shot (low percentage). You can live by it, but you will also die by it.
@@yaahlabanyamyan144Bro is disillusioned the nba started getting " soft" after the 2010's early 2000 was still physical but the game in terms of shooting and skill was better than the 90's😂😂😂😂
I wish the 2K could simulate the physicality of the 90s. I think that curry and clay would probably hit less shots and curry would probably be injured more. But I’d be interested in seeing how Durant does. I think his game will translate more to the 90s.
there is something about the 2k23 simulation that's absolutely terrible, I haven't quite figured it out but it seems like whenever a team is up 3-1, like 60% of the time they blow it, and some stupid terrible team wins the championship.
@@tkesco sliders don’t matter on sim too much. I lower the shooting percentage in sim bc everyone shoots 55-60% and it still ends up being the same. 2k sim has been so terrible forever
@@gymbuddyapp6742 I've watched the 2K AI shit the bed for the last almost 20 years lmao its been the main draw back of the franchise through its entire history.
i honestly think the skill would out match the 90s physicality but what made GSW so dangerous was the ball movement and chasing curry and klay off the 3 is something fierce
Back in 90's they ain't gonna allow all the moving screen GSW has been enjoying, and there're much stricter dribbling rules so GSW couldn't get away with all the carry, double dribble, moving pivot and so on like today. So all that beautiful movement would get cut down a lot. A video game wouldn't be able simulate such nuance.

Well the players in the 90s weren't trash. A guy who isn't a household name 30 years later doesn't mean he wasn't relevant in his time. Good that 2K took it into consideration.

Nah KD fouling out in only 18 minutes of game time is crazy
bulls squad was missing a lot of players. Probably should have prevented trades too.
I hate when they turn on trades and injuries all these channels do it. We wanna know what the outcome is full strength.
Lol these videos are wild 😂
Love the commentation 😂
Med: I put the gsw17 into 90's to see if they can beat jordan and the bulls in his prime.
Hornets: what do you mean their prime?
how dare you underestimate the power of muggsy bogues
Hornets won tbh
Beat the Bulls
Beat the Warriors

okok
So in your sim Steph Curry played against his dad twice in the finals and you didn't even mention it lol
