Managing risk in complex megaprojects (2021)

David Hillson answers three key questions: Are complex megaprojects more risky? Are they exposed to different types of risk? Does risk management work for complex megaprojects?
His answer involves "project continuity management", using built-in flexibility and resilience to cope with emergent risk, alongside traditional risk processes to deal with more typical risks.
