We added an electric fireplace to our master bedroom last year for both heat and ambiance. It adds more than I could have ever imagined. We also put a Christmas tree in there a couple years ago. It is SO beautiful. Such a wonderful retreat. So relaxing. Thank you for your inspiration.

I have so many of my moms Christmas pins, with all the little jewels and brass. A little christmas brooch would be sweet on your mom's dress. Just thinking out loud.

So, so beautiful! You are so inspiring and I'm always struck by how you can curate your home full of thrifted and handmade things so wonderfully. I think my favourite thing here is that you display and appreciate your mother's wedding dress--that is so lovely.
*Tight Color Palette and Textiles* . For me, sticking to a tight color palette and playing with textiles transformed my styling game. I thrift and DIY for the seasons with these concepts in mind. I use what I have in new ways to create a different vibe from year to year. My Mother's comment when she walked in for Thanksgiving was; "Your home looks like it should be in magazine" , a compliment for sure. No items are precious or expensive, it's the creation of a welcoming and cozy atmosphere that works for me. *Congratulations* on your milestone, well deserved my Dear.

I love the velvet ribbon and the thrifted/diy theme. It looks like your mom must have gotten married in the 1970s. You did a beautiful job with your bedroom decor, but I was a little disappointed that you didn’t wallpaper your bedroom with William Morris wallpaper. I think that would make it so much more cozy.
