- PAINTING VIDEO DESCRIPTION - Are you a beginner painter? Want to learn how to paint with acrylics? Looking for an easy seascape painting idea? Let me be your acrylic art instructor as I teach you easy step-by-step instructions throughout this fun beginner art video as you learn how to paint a blue heron soaring above the ocean during a sunset-a fun landscape and animal portrait “BLUE HERON SUNSET”. This is truly a captivating and enchanting seascape image with its stunning evening glow with the suggestion of a sun setting off in the distant ocean horizon that is casting a glow on the front of the tall bird as it soars across the wet beach sand and crystal clear and calm ocean. You can imagine this ocean scene to be that of a secluded quiet private beach oasis along the sea’s edge. You'll learn simple painting techniques that will help you to create this realistic piece of wall art with a dreamy peaceful warm summer feel with gentle waves crashing into the sand and warm clouds drifting through the sky. With a graceful posture, the tall, elegant and lengthy imposing feathered crane bird will give the piece life and guide the viewers eye through the painting with the movement of its body through the sky over the watery sand casting a small reflective image onto the ground. You’ll learn to paint a straight horizon line without a ruler, ocean waves with lots of movement, a dramatic sky, a beautiful enchanting sunset and fluffy clouds that have depth providing a picturesque view. With a dry brush technique, you'll learn how to create dimension and shadows in and around the water with subtle blending of the complimentary colors and properly placed highlights and shadows. The vantage point will provide an interesting perspective on the animal portrait image. You’ll learn how to paint feathers and facial features making your crane look life-like and realistic like a 3-D photograph. Inspired by my love of nature and warm springtime and summertime adventures to the beach waiting for the warm breeze to float by! You'll learn to paint this realistic ocean landscape with depth, contrast and natural colors for a seascape that will have your imagination running wild with this majestic stately bird with its subtle blue-gray plumage. You can personalize your video tutorial painting in any way you want and add a boat in the ocean, flowers floating on the water, or different type of birds flying, such as, a pelican, crane, or cardinal. This is a CZcams painting inspired by the power of imagination, so feel free to use yours! The painting process is so simple you’ll feel like it is a paint by numbers. Using only 3 brushes and 6 colors, you’ll paint like a professional! How great thou art. Send it to MOMA or an art gallery and sell your art. Have a date night at home, paint party, paint and sip event, or virtual paint night. Paint with gouache, oil paint, or watercolor, or make it a pencil drawing, any medium will work! Paint just for fun or for art therapy, paint abstract, pop art, or nail art. It's an easy art project to paint on craft paper, canvas, wood or any substrate. I hope you enjoy watching this CZcams channel art video and let's get painting and let's get sipping!

Florida certainly does have some spectacular beach sunsets, glad it brought back a fond memory for you!

Thank you!
I’m so thankful that you talk us through all that you’re doing and why. Not only because it’s informative, but also because you don’t have what I refer to as the “CZcamsr inflection”, you talk like a person lol. In my own opinion, this piece of your collection is especially elevated. As you’re so good about specifying, your approach isn’t everyone’s but that’s exactly what I love about your content, you give us what works for you which more often are standards for the reason that they are more often the case 🤪🙃 if that makes sense. Not that I don’t continue to learn the hard way 😅 despite which, I wanted to say thank you for your content creating, sharing what you know with us which ultimately, take it ir leave it, helps us to determine how those pointers and techniques can fit into our own methods.
Super wordy way of saying “great job thanks a bunch” but sure hope it reads for you and encourages you to keep on keepin on 😜🤗🙏🙏🥰
Hi Sammie, you so totally rock! Thanks for your kind words and encouragement! Sure means a lot! Have fun painting!

Bonito
Attempting this one. Such a beautiful composition ❤🎉
Tried it, but not quite happy with it 😅
Absolutely beautiful Michelle! The detail in the Heron is 👍👍. I feel I'm going into the painting.. which is always good 😁😁😁❤️❤️❤️ Reflections can be tricky and I know its all down to whether you paint still or slow/fast flow water. I tried reflection in my oil painting with still water but changed the colour tone of the trees in the water. I haven't painted since last year, I must try!!
Awesome, glad that you like it and have fun painting!
Hey Bestie, how’s ya doing? This is very beautiful. Love the colors. Nice warm colors. My high school grad dress was salmon color and I loved it. Plus I was size 4….nothing like today darn it…..why does that seem to change…why!!!! Ok enough I digress…love the sky but the heron is just fabulous. Do you live near the water where you can see them come? No I don’t. That would be just a dream come true.
Yes, I have a pond at my house and there's a blue heron that visits every now again. It's like a dinosaur flying over the property... so cool!
@@michellethepainter. now I;ll have to google it. Thanks for all you do for us it really is a wonderful gift you share. And that IS priceless
Lovely panting 😘but I really miss the brushes with the colors😢
Hi Michelle I’m starting to paint this picture but I have one question. I have most of your paint except Florissant Orange. If I use just your orange acrylic will that make a difference in achieving the color or not. Thanks for listening Barbara
Hi Buona, If you have a bright hot pink, you can add a touch of that into a bright yellow (like a chrome yellow) and you will get a vibrant fluorescent orange similar to mine. But if you don't match it perfectly, no worries, just go with whatever you have and then it will be personalized to you. Have fun painting!
@@michellethepainter. Thank you Michelle
What is the difference between the heron and crane? I need a crane for a project I’m doing but all I see online are blue herons
You could paint the blue heron with without the blue and call it a crane. Good luck!
