  • So it's a big question what happens in a ashram! Do people turn monk or go wild wild west. Watch this video to know about the life in Isha Yoga center.
How's the life in ashram? Are we allowed to date here or forced to take brahmacharya?
Also I have been to Bhuta Shuddhi Vivaha.
So if you have any question about that. Here's the link

    DISCLAIMER 🧠
I made all these videos while I was in the ashram, with the intention of making people aware of what Isha has to offer and how one can benefit from the spiritual programs.
I wish no one lose their spark & individuality by investing their whole life after an entity and regret later. 🙏🏼

Shato...Wish I had this wisdom 10 years back when I married. I was so so needy in terms of my emotions then, I thought marriage would solve it. Ended up being with another super needy person leading to so many clashes. Finally, When I turned inward that's when I realised, how imbalanced I was. Slowly started working on it. For the first time in my life, I started liking being alone. Started enjoying the freedom that comes with not being a dependent. When I saw you taking about marriage, suddenly it reminded me of myself 10 years back. Lots of love.

That sounds like everyone. First of all please be respectful of the person who satisfied your needs and secondly you can be alone even if you are in a crowd. What is important is to learn to become alone within yourself even for a few minutes everyday where even you don't exist. This can transform your life and your partner's. And once your partner tastes a bit of spirituality they will be fine with letting you be alone. And please don't repent any of your decisions. According to me the neediness in you could have destroyed you totally and you would have never touched any spirituality. Be happy about your decision and your partner.

@@harshach0059 Nathji, A yogi's work is generally oriented towards doing good to others with a detached will. They are working consciously in a direction with will withdrawn from personal gains. consciousness is static aspect of the self but will is the dynamic aspect of the self, You are your will when you exercise it otherwise you are the nature of pure consciousness, yogis exercise will to transcend body mind complex. What society considers as valuable for sacrifice is not even considered valuable or invaluable by a yogi/monk.
Anyways, please feel free to disagree with this, you should only consider what your guru says as ultimate truth. I wrote this cuz, I believe audience here must be on path of self realization.

Im 24, I have been to isha with my grandpa. But with our generation, without dating you wont know if he/she is the perfect one for you. If you straight away get married with random person then gone only! Isha wont allow crowding or making friends, because you have to learn to cope up with your own emotions instead of just depending on a person for your emotional stress which is totally understandable.

Well the purpose of the Yoga center is obvious, it's for yoga, not really for bringing all our baggage in, so ultimately they give you the tools to support yourself. And that's how it should be. Ignorant, fearful, sick, needy relationships will increasingly fall apart more rapidly down the road. Relationships are ruthless at holding up a mirror of truth.

It's very pure and sweet. And please all these woke and disrespectful people who encourage disrespect in the name of "freedom of liberties"...get lost. You have ruined most of the world now. Let some places remain sacred and clean. These are adults who choose to follow some rules, and if they cannot, let them leave. Live and LET LIVE.

I can also relate to the concept of marrying 'the one'

Our father and grandfather generation wedding were simple at temples or at homes... maximum 3 or 4 pics(now a days no one does)
BUT one thing.. if u do marriage simple or grand tht shouldn't be criteria... Basic is respect each other feelings with out ego 😂 (Love, Respect , Healthy fear towards each other) All marriage's wil be fruitful.

Ashram is not for socializing and dating. I am not sure why someone needs to be told about that. The precautions in Ashram you mentioned seem to safeguard people from their human impulses.
Sadhguru said it in several videos that marriage is not about depending on other person for your personal needs and happiness. Only when you attend to other person without being needy for your demands then you are bound to be in a very successful marriage. So be clam and happy inward and then think about the rest of the things in your life and you will handle them very well. Those were his words on several occasions.

Why married people have to live outside main ashram?? What do you mean by outside main ashram? And thanks for all the information, it is giving much more insight into Ashram.🙏🙏

@Nirja Rai ohk, I got that bramhacharis maintain the ashram and they are there forever. But what about married people? Are they allowed to stay at ashram for life time? Means how does this all system work?? Looks like I need some more clarity 🤔

There are many couples married in the Bhairavi temple and or done Bhuta Shudhi Vivaha and are living in the ashram. It is incorrectly stated that they need to live outside ashram. Maybe Shato hasn't met any couples here as we don't hold hands or have PDA moments here 😄
