Why 2015 seems more photorealistic and in theory because the engine is more updated it should have better graphics in the sequels, did the devs do it on purpose?But the reflections of the cars in the heat are much better like giving a much more metallic impression than the other two that look more like a matte with gloss
I think it’s because 2015 is always at night/early morning so the devs where able to get away with having lower quality models and textures in certain areas that are in darkness and because of that they could increase the lighting, shadows and reflection quality in the areas that are actually visible, not to mention, the map is much smaller compared to Payback and Heat in the sense that it isn’t completely open with fields and desert you can just cut through. That’s also probably the reason why 2015 runs the best out of the all the recent NFS games.

ima say this even tho it's late keep the vanilla stock sounds in their game and the exhaust tuning they added in make it so we can achieve sounds like this ourselves that was it give a you did this factor, better tuning factor and doesn't make the exhaust tuning seem useless

To Ghost's defense, the R34 in Heat sounds a lot closer to a factory spec R34 than the one in NFSU2 does.
