All other Far Cry games had a more rough and unique culture and world to explore. However I think Far Cry 5 could’ve been better if they tried a more realistic approach.

@@table3310 Yeah, I agree. It really does look good, I guess I just lost faith in Ubisoft completely after WD Legion, but maybe Far Cry 6 can restore some of that faith. Ubisoft is one of those companies that every time they get 1 game right, they mess up other 4 so that's saying something.
The way Diego's face is blurred out indicates to me that determined by our actions, we control his fate through the game. Either he will become a resistance fighter and overthrow his father, or he'll become a big, if not bigger dictator than his dad

This is honestly amazing, if hopelessness and desperation had a sound that just went straight to your gut and made you feel uncomfortable this would be it. Regardless of the game this opening sequence is incredible.

lIBeastIl It’s an amazing title sequence no doubt. But you people need to understand it’s not just about pretty pictures and cool looking stuff. To make this, it requires knowledge and skills in design, tons of research, ideation and development. Everything has to be planned through storyboarding, a script and previs.
I have to admit Ubisoft is really good at make trailers. Maybe not so good to do proper games, yet... 😄

this cinematic is even better to watch once youve completed the game. its brilliant anyway! but you see the symbolism of the cinematic once you understand the storyline. i liked how the pills turned into bullets, showing the slavery and death behind the production of the viviro. and the red running through the leaves, like nature, something which is typically seen as a good thing, is being corrupted. kinda went all academic on this comment, but i think it makes you appreciate the cinematic so much more. whoever made this segment should get an award

@@dawnslayer I love both games but if I had to choose I'd go with GTA because of the open world and modernity. That is if we are comparing GTA 5 on PS4 to Far Cry 4 or 5. Far Cry 6 is a very new game so it's an unfair comparison.

Very True Detective-style intro. Getting Giancarlo Esposito as the main villain is also a fantastic voice. Not only a great person, but a phenomenal actor who will definitely bring his experience expertly to portraying a Far Cry villain.
Say what you want about the games themselves, you can't deny that they've got pretty memorable villains.

I remember seeing this from another commentor about his prediction for the setup of the game. I can't find him anymore, but I remember what he said.
He thinks that Anton has made an artifical plant disease (look at the the leaf and the petri-dish scenes). Using this, he would infect the crops grown throughout Yara Island, making the populace submit to him.
Although I think it’s just for the visuals, it’s a very interesting theory.

@@CosmiCat38 Nice, I feel like one of the things that made the game most enjoyable for me were the gear modifiers, changed the game completely. I loved a modifier that let me do machete takedowns on people who have already spotted me.
