Noel has said in the past that he wrote 'Live Forever' as a reaction to the grunge movement, most notably the Nirvana song 'I Hate Myself And I Want To Die'. He thought "these guys have everything and they are miserable, we have nothing and yet we're happy', so he wrote a song to reflect that.

Back in 2014 I was in a chat room and I had a conversation with someone who claimed to be Noel Gallagher, naturally I thought it wasn't really him so I asked him a countless amount of questions about him and Oasis which he responded to instantly and correctly so not even if you had the fastest internet would you be able to answer them so fast, but His way of answering question is exactly like this video, we talked for like an hour and he told me Radiohead sucks.

Multiple. He isn't really typing those posts nor is he browsing the internet. He's just talking at a screen that presents various social media posts chosen by GQ for him (CZcams comments on other videos are 'highlighted' and stuff), and they video themselves typing what he said later whether they can post it or not. It's a very staged video series, which is a shame.
Imagine telling noel, "hey mate..would you like to type everything you just said?" fffff lol
Except nobody cares about the actual comments. they just want to hear noel talk and respond to questions the internet asks. typing comments back is just an excuse to make the interview
