- The 80s were undeniably the best era for television cartoons and gave us many iconic shows such as He-Man, Thundercats, G.I. Joe, and so on. Many of these shows were set in eccentric, innovative environments, and there were no limitations to just how creative and unconventional these shows could get. One such cartoon was the 'Dinosaucers,' which focused on the adventures of evolved dinosaurs from the faraway planet of Reptilon! Created by Michael Uslan, the Dinosaucers was a massive hit with the audiences and soon became one of the most popular cartoons of the 80s. I used to watch this series a lot. I wish they reboot the series and give us a story and more lore of the Dinosaucers. We wanted to see Ryan Spencer use his power ring.

I love "Dinosaucers"! I was hoping there would be a video like this about this show! I watched it online. The video refreshed my memories on the episodes. Genghis Rex was going to have the dinosaurs take over the world too in the first episode?

Those spaceships were something else. I still enjoy listening to the theme song from time to time. Quackpot, Stego, Teryx and Dimetro were among my favourite characters from the show.
The episodes were pretty enjoyable for their time.
This was such a epic cartoon when I was younger. I love the enthusiasm from the narrator with his sighs of boredom reading the content lol 😆

I loved this show. My friend and I would skip school to watch it lol. Btw, Gary Chalk does the voice of Allo and he also did the voice of Optimus Primal of Beast Wars/Machines.

Their ships would have been the coolest toy line ever. I remember wanting them so bad.
I think the show was inspired by the original Transformers, since Dinosaucers gives off a similar vibe when you watch it, with two warring factions being similar to the Autobots fighting the Decepticons when it came to the Dinosaucers fighting the Tyranos, with their leaders Allo and Genghis Rex being very reminiscent of Optimus Prime and Megatron.
Those rings reminded of Captain Planet.
Expect the rings give them superpowers instead of just control over elements and taping into emotions at least when it came to the heart ring.
We are still hoping for a DVD release and a reboot. We did had a comic book series but it was short lived and it ended on a cliffhanger. (Don't you hate it when they do that?)

First five or six episodes were really weak, with goofy characters which are mainly yelling "what we are going to do?" and Genghis Rex is really portrait as total idiot which is surrounded with even more idiotic minions. Show at this point is oversimplified and unbelievable. It is sad, they were air first.
