Decided to main paladin for both pve and pvp, and you are 100% my go to pvp player. Learning alot from your vids. Idk how you feel about live-com gameplay but I think everyone here could benefit greatly from it!
Edit: Been playing some more. I seem to struggle super hard keeping people in a stun like you do. They just roll out. Then when I get stunned I'm put into a 50% health combo. Also I've been encountering alot of people that straight up cancel my abilities when I cast, like I'll cast something then they'll hit me and it won't even send out my ability but still puts it on cd.
Paladin isn't an easy class to play, especially in 1 vs 1. You're never going to be able to outtrade the enemy player, unless you play slightly better than they do. It's not a noob stomper class like blade, artillerist and so on because it does require some game knowledge before you're able to abuse the class. I recommend that you play a lot of games, at least 500+ before ranked comes out so that you get used to the class and learn to play against all of the other classes. Also, the abilities might be getting cancelled due to ping, not sure.

I've been looking for the God tier class to play for pvp. Looks like Paladin is that class. The Barb got beat so badly I couldn't bring myself to even laugh 😐. Good video. Paladin is the one class to rule them all.
Paladin is one of the worst 1v1 classes. However, it's the best 3v3 class.
Paladin pretty boring for pvp. I would suggest Striker. Fun to play and seems op. Just have to play safe when main combo is down.
I really wanted to play paladin in pvp but they are just so slow I felt like I could never engage. Striker is in and out fast, juggle combos & crazy burst just hard to not all in sometimes.
Paladins are the weakest in 1v1 since their animations are clunky when setting up stagger combos. They're incredibly godlike in 3v3 teams tho. The only issue in 1v1 is that there are a lot of other melee classes that can literally better than Paladin in utility and damage. In essence; Paladin can do well if they can understand their opponent because they have a full arsenal of CC

Started pala at the lunch when an other streamer mentionned your Channel for pala pvp info ! I do pve too but learned a lot i do 80% winrate when doing weekly those 2 weeks and 100% with a friend bard on our sessions (but its forbidden right ? Pala+ bard in 3v3 ) ! Its all thanks to you that i have the edge learning a lot

Would you consider making a separate guide on how to pvp against every class? For example I follow your guides but I feel like I have no idea how to approach a Deathblade and get blown up no matter what I do, but can hold my own against all the warrior classes no problem. Would really help if you were to go over all the skills to look out for and how to counter them on each class/advanced class
It would require a lot of work and effort to edit all of that. Maybe I could do it when I'm not so busy with grinding. But the issue is that there are a lot of separate builds that classes like "deathblade" could go for. That applies to all classes.
Hey, enjoy the vids. Noticed you don't seem to change your build at all from the 3v3 to 1v1v1 format. I see a lot of folks drop Shield or Godsent Law for Dash Slash or Light of Judgement. Obviously you get results with it, but do you think your 3v3 build is still the most optimal for duels or is it just familiarity?
It's probably not the best 1 v 1 build, but it should work in most situations. The point of this build is to abuse shields long enough to get CD's back. Could also play it really defensively if I'd want to.

Out of curiosity, why would you want to drop Shield or godsent law before heavenly blessings? I use Flames exact build but for 1v1s I drop Heavenly Blessings for Light of Judgement. Seems a better choice to drop than shield or Godsent Law as I feel it just has less utility but interested to hear otherwise

You get this skill at level 50. You can also use it in PVP as soon as you unlock PVP.

Awesome videos, love your guides too! Wish we could get more videos with commentary explaining your thought process. Lost ark is a big game, and it’s tough right now when most of us don’t really know how all the other classes play outside if the ones we’ve chosen to main 😅 most other games you really need to spend a little time pvping as every class to get a feel for the flow and reach, and what to expect, but with 15 classes at release and more coming, I’m kinda dreading that experience, no time lol
My advice is to pvp as much as possible. The only real way to understand the game is to PVP a lot until you get things down. At least 500 games before ranked.

I still have to get used to mouse movement for pvp, the rest of the combat feels a lot like battlerite did, but without wasd control spacing is a bit harder
Still, it’s loads of fun and I’m looking forward to getting into ranked eventually :)

Wow. I watched one of your videos the other day and decided to try out pvp and got absolutely destroyed. You make it look so easy! I'm having a lot of fun with the build in 3v3 but 1v1 is super hard. I feel like I don't do a lot of damage so if someone gets on me it's really hard for me to trade with them. Am I supposed to basically just try to combo them and then run away until I have my cooldowns / shield back up? Love your videos though.. do you still stream on twitch or are you basically done with that? I checked out your channel but you haven't been live in a long time so I wasn't sure.
Yeah, you're supposed to stay back until you get your cooldowns up. Otherwise, you'll just get combo'd. I will stream more once ranked comes back!
he's facing super bad people. they're all like grade 10, granted some are above that but these people have like 15 games in total lol. he prolly has hundreds.
Iv been getting into pvp with my paladin and I cannot get up and use my wrath of God or heavenly blessings without being interrupted. I'm really not sure how you managed to use it after your get up and not get interrupted when hit. Was this before the change from 1000 to 750 cause I think that hit a lot of get up ability use in thr game.
You were never really invincible while rolling and using wrath of god. The roll gives you lingering super armor and just as wrath of god is done casting that super armor disappears. If you get hit during that last moment of the cast, then you will get knocked down again. You basically have to hope that the enemy doesn't rng hit you with a multi-hit skill that procs in that small time frame.

Nah, that would only work in certain matchups. Not worth even considering using it.

Hey man I am playing Paladin since Ru too and I am always struggling against Gunslinger and Devil Hunter. I can't even touch them most of the times when they are good. Can you maybe give a bit advice on how to get better against that matchup in LTS. And love ur vids been looking at you for longer now even played against you once on Ru.
Might do that when I'm not so busy with all the grinding. But my main advice for gunslingers and DH is to never chase them. You can only really hit really good gunslingers with charge by surprise. You should wait for them to jump on you and then use execution of justice as soon as they do. If they back away out of your execution of justice range, then they'll instantly try to freeze grenade you, so you need to have your dash ready to get away from the freeze before it hits.
Thanks for the advice flames I'm always trying to chase them like a psychopath. I should try other playstyles against them but I'm more the aggressive player and the habits come out 😂

Nah, world pvp is pretty dogshit balance. No point in even taking it seriously. Only real pvp is arena pvp.

How do u fair against a gunlancer
It's definitely one of your worst matchups in 1 vs 1. It 2-3x times more skill for you to beat a gunlancer as a plaadin than for a gunlancer to beat a paladin.

No wonder you win when you play against bots, with that build you'll be smashed by anybody that has played some pvp before
Maybe you'd be smashed by someone that played pvp before. Me, on the other hand... only really good players (with over 1k hours of pvp experience) would be able to beat me with this build. And even then, it'd be 50/50.

Even in RU there weren't many people that gave me trouble in 1 vs 1. And in actual 3 vs 3 ranked I went all the way to top 10.

Just an opinion, the combos and builds are more helpful if being showcased against at least tier 1 players. Even if you think you executed them perfectly and playing like a "god". A T1 player dsnt even mean the player is good, it just shows they have played a good amount of pvp. But good job fooling and click baiting everyone. Good cash grab. 👍
I mean if you watched the video, you'd have seen that I perfected a "tier 1" player. And back when I was making the video there were not that many "tier 1" players. It doesn't even matter if people are tier 1 or or grade 20. I take them down with the same consistency. The only people that can truly give me trouble are the ones that have played RU pvp and reached a very high rank.

I do have some losses on my channel if you check my older vids. Also, don't think I lost a single time in Amazon version yet, so can't really show you a lose when my ping is finally good.

The issue with paladin is that you are going to get outtraded by every other class unless you play at least 1.5x better than them. My advice is to pvp a lot and learn the skills that the other classes use so you know when you can go in and catch them.
