@12inchskinz so next time someone writes or calls and asks the question...will the turntables vinyl skinz (Technics) fit with my decksaver the real answer is NO. If you use a decksaver to protect your decks, its best to get the magnetic skinz. Period.
I wouldn't recommend the vinyl skinz unless you are not covering it with a decksaver. I purchased the black Technics 1200 skinzs and the decksaver didn't sit smoothly in place, I had to firmly push the decksaver down to seat it in place and the side skinz started curling up at the edges so I remove the edges altogether. Defeats the purpose but I may just get the magnetic skinz in brushed aluminum. Thanks for the review!
Yes, I know what you mean! I had skins on my turntables from another company and I had the same issues with the parts of the skin that had to go over the sides. The magnetic style is the way to go and they work just fine with decksavers. Thanks for watching!
Thank you for the contribution. I have a question about "adhesive style skin" vs "magentic skin". Like you, I have a new DJM-S11 and new Rane Twelve MK2. I have seen that the "adhesive style skin" is glued on and I am very concerned that when I remove this sticker, there will be visible damage to the unit. With the magnet, of course, this is not the case, but I can not find a video where explains what actually (except the material and the easy installation of the magnet-skin) is the difference and for which device, which skin is better suited. Greetings
The adhesive skin does not leave behind ANY damage or any adhesive. On the contrary, it actually protects the finish of the mixer underneath the skin. With that being said, I don't believe they offer a magnetic skin on the S11. I would use the magnet where ever possible as it is easier to apply and remove and it is a bit thicker and heavier.
@@RealDJblaze do you find the coffin case to be extremely heavy to the point that you do t want to take it out? I know it’s heavier than putting them in separate cases but I also see the value in not having to set up all the cables when setting up for a gig.
@@DJKISSchitown Yes, the coffin case is WAY too heavy for one person. If you always have another person to help then it works, but if you are by yourself trying to set everything up, then it will be your worst nightmare. Definitely go with single cases!

@@mike._.feliciano6782 The Decksavers generally fit tight to the unit so skinz may often be not compatible.
Do you guys sell the plate for the s11s with the special edition stripes? Been looking and haven’t seen it on your website

What case is that ? . I have similar set up but no case for my s11 . The skin on that s11 looks sick by the way 👌
The case is Odyssey fzbm10wbl. Just got it a few weeks back so I can move my setup around without disconnecting everything.
