Immortal songs is indeed a show. The songs are originally from legend singers. Immortal song actually is a big part of their journey as it helps them to get recognized. They are the first idol group who won immortal songs.

This medley was performed as part of Mamamoo's 2017 Moosical Curtain Call concert in Seoul. They only performed half of the songs they actually sang on the Immortal Songs 2 singing competition show.
Immortal Songs 2 is an invite only singing competition show where a legend aka immortal of the industry (usually Korean) is chosen and the competitors have to choose one of their songs to re-arrange and perform live in front of the immortal (if they are still alive) and the studio audence. The invited competitors are then randomly drawn by the host so not all invitees get to the chance to perform. They go one on one in a sing off and the winner of each round is selected by the audience who vote and each vote is tallied to give the total score. The performer with the highest score at the end wins the episode.
Mamamoo were invited to perform on the show just six months after they debuted. The audience and the immortal singer were not happy that a group who had just debuted were invited to perform on this elite competition show. Kpop idol groups were known to not have the singing skills of seasoned veteran singers with at least 20+ years of experience. After Mamamoo's first appearance they proved they were worthy invitees by impressing both the skeptical audience and immortal guest. Mamamoo instantly became audience and show favourites and were invited back on the show a total of fourteen times as a group. Solar was also invited once to perform as a soloist. Mamamoo still hold the record for the number of wins by any kpop girl group, winning three episodes.

These songs were covered by Mamamoo on the Immortal Song show. At that show, currently active performers cover famous songs from famous acts. Usually, the original performer is in attendance if they are still living, like performing a Streisand song in front of her. It's a competition where five or six acts perform different songs by the "immortal" performer for audience votes. The winner gets a trophy and prestige. Mamamoo has been on the show fourteen times, and I'll just say, they have done very well there. This medley was performed in the middle of one of their concerts with a live band and live backing vocalists.

Immortal songs is a show. Mamamoo was one of the groups to be asks to return on the show. It was their early years and this show helped their popularity. You cant really beat it when your live on stage😊
One thing to note about their covers of these songs: Moonbyul writes her own rap parts, which aren't part of the original song (only exception being You in My Fading Memory). ❤
Immortal song is a show, this is a medley they put together for one of their own concerts of the songs they did in various immortal songs episodes. Immortal songs are all covers, this show put them on the map basically because unlike most KPOP groups, mamamoo has the vocals to actually do old famous songs, they dont have to rely in choreo or anything else. This is one of the reasons they were the first KPOP idol group to win and for many years they had the most wins of any group. There are a lot of songs because they performed on the show many times over a few years. There are other videos of this and another medley and actual show footage. Probably one of the best ones is a video of Delilah(Tom Jones Delilah) they really show off the vocals for that one. Also Moonbyul had to write every rap because none of these older classic korean songs had rap in them. Many can get confused thinking these are mamamoo songs but they are covers, Mamamoo is just very very good at making any song sound like their own.

This concert featured a medley/compilation of the most popular songs they covered on the show (none of them are Mamamoo songs!). The individual performances are on YT however, being Korean TV, are monitored very closely for copyright, so you'd need to obfuscate the picture somehow. Or watch them offline. They are an experience, to be sure!

Congrats on 300 episodes. The Immortal Songs Medley includes some of the covers they performed on the singing competition tv show Immortal Songs 2 between 2015 to '17. In the competition current artists perform covers of classic (immortal) songs by older artists, often as a tribute with the artist being honored present during the show. MMM performed this medley during one of their 2017 concerts called Moosical Curtain Call, which is why you see all the moobongs in the audience. Their debut concerts in 2016 were called Moosical (naturally lol). Imo you don't know Mamamoo unless you've seen their 14 spectacular performances on Immortal Songs between 2015-19. They're some of the best live vocal performances you'll ever see by a girl group. Unfortunately the tv network blocks reactions unless you filter their videos but watch them on your own time if you don't want to deal with the blocks.
For some context, Immortal Songs is a well-respected competition show featuring some of Korea's best singers. Back when Mamamoo started appearing on the show it was dominated by famous ballad singers and mainstream artists. Kpop idol groups rarely appeared on the show and didn't fare very well in the competition when they did. I've heard there was some resentment when MMM was invited on the show as rookies but the girls quickly earned the respect of their seniors and developed a rep as monster rookies nobody wanted to go up against. They were the first girl group to win an episode of Immortal Songs and the first idol group of either gender to win multiple times.

As you have may have read, none of the songs in this video are theirs. Mamamoo do have a wonderful back catalogue of songs in varying styles. There are far more songs than music videos to accompany them. It may not be such a good idea for you to react to audio only from them. That is my opinion. As it is your channel, you can do as you please.
