As someone who previously worked at a computer server warehouse during summer in high school dealing with filthy systems exactly like this every day, I really enjoyed this video and it was so entertaining and satisfying to watch...Cleaning out a disgusting system ridding it of all the age and dust making it look and feel brand new again is just way more rewarding than just building a brand new pc with top-of-the-line components that you can find on major retailers like every other pc build on the internet. Really appreciate you sharing this, liked and subbed!

I agree. Yesterday I cleaned my computer case which was FILLED with dust like seriously no wonder I couldn't run games good and it overheated often. I thought it was the gigabyte geforce gtx 770 which was bad but it couldn't just get air and also my case restricted the air flow so I opened it up. Now works better than a lot of todays low-mid end gpu's I definitely agree making something that works better is way more rewarding than just buying something you don't need.

My friend's dad found something like this on the side of the road. He picked it up and dropped it at my house knowing I'd be interested. Utterly filthy; years of dust, dead bugs, and solid, sticky grime. I cleaned it up using some of your PCDC videos as inspiration, and after replacing the power supply and putting in an SSD I've put together a pretty capable system for my cousin. The thing had a reference Radeon R9 290, which still holds up incredibly well in modern games but is ridiculously loud. Worst part is an FX 4100, but I think I'll get him an FX 8350 for Christmas. Love this series, super therapeutic and inspiring. I went down to my Grandma's house on Monday and gave her system a clean, it was much overdue and its plenty more quiet now.

Roaches absolutely horrify me. I can not stand roaches. I've had my pc for almost a year now and i have a mini vacuum and i just use it on my system once a month and still looks like the day I got it. Just a little cleaning goes a long way for pcs. Also keep them away from the ground. Get a big desk that can fit your pc and monitor on top. Awesome videos. Keep up the awesome work. I'm in the tampa area. Stopping by to take a ride in the Ferrari lol. just kidding

I gave a friend my Core 2 Quad Q6600 system. A year later the HDD failed. I took it back and boy was it ever as dirty as this one. It was definitely in a smokers house. I had to take everything apart and clean everything with alcohol just like you did. Took me days to get it clean, and even then it would never come perfectly clean as I didn't have an ozone machine. In the end though it looked as amazing as the day I gave it to him. Upgraded it to a SSD and from 4GB to 8GB DDR2. I understand your dedication.
