An excellent documentary that pays due tribute, not only to the trilogy itself, but to the complex art of film making in general.

Still remember this moment in cinema where it was like after years of thinking it ppl actually started to adapt great stories into great movies. There were outliers but it felt like there was a change up after Batman Begins.

This is what happens when you let a team of people do honest and hard work, and you allow those people to trust all individuals associated with the project to beam through the cracks and make it pure and original. What happened to this trust and filmmaking as an angle for WB? Christopher Nolan was handed the keys and he delivered the most successful trilogy of all time, yet after this, every movie made under WB with a "superhero" in it was changed, manipulated, cut short, neutered or completely thrown out. A strange twist of the knife.

Batman begins didn't do great and the theater was only half full. It just broke even and WB was going to fire Nolan and bale but they decided to let Nolan do the sequel with the riddler as the villain but Nolan wanted the joker and heath ledger joker saved Nolan and the film and Nolan career

Batman Begins was a great success for the Batman franchise after the disastrous Batman & Robin.
It was praised by fans and critics.
Sure the earnings ($373,443,774) out of $150million budget don't give smash hit vibe , but begins was the the second highest grossing Batman film at the time behind Tim Burton's Batman (1989).
I don't think Nolan & Bale were to be fired in any case.
