  • In this Minecraft Create Mod 0.3.2 Tutorial "Ore Processing System". I talk about how to make an ore processing system by using brass, mechanical crafters, crushing wheels, encased fans, and some other create mod items. This ore processing system will allow you to double your ores and sometimes even triple them from everything from diamonds, to lapis, to iron, to quartz. If you have any questions on how to make brass in the create mod please leave a comment below and I can help you!
    The Minecraft Create 0.3.2 Mod is a mod offering a variety of tools and blocks for Building, Decoration, and Aesthetic Automation. The added elements in the Create Mod of tech are designed to leave as many design choices to the player as possible, where item processing doesn't just happen in a single block.

    Hello everyone. I noticed in my modpack some crushed ores when they are washed would provide other items besides nuggets. Such as with crushed iron, there is a chance for redstone to be washed and clogs the depot because it has no where to go. To counter that, I place a brass chute + chest under the depot, with a filter that denies all crushed ores and nuggets. Make sure to press the checkmark to save!

    I use the Soul Sand method for my water wheels to squeeze some extra stress out of them (and I also have a third one which may or may not affect what I'm going to say going forward). Haven't done the math to see if it would require that or not, but there's actually space for five encased fans to bulk wash the crushed ores after the first brass filter. Since power washing is the main bottleneck in this design, this speeds things up dramatically. Another comment also suggested feeding the cobblestone from the first filter chest back into the system, which allows this to produce gravel, flint, clay, and even sand if you feed the gravel back into the system and let it powerwash the sand--or you can just power wash the gravel for more iron. This is a very versatile platform and I can't recommend it enough for anyone looking to process ores in Create.

    Why haven't you covered Windmill yet? It's the best power source if we take the efficiency/resources spent ratio. It's super cheap and produces *huge* amounts of stress capacity, single one of those kept *all* my crafting systems (from Press to Crushing Wheels, including 8 fans for washing/smoking/smelting and two sets of Deployers/Saws for sequenced assembly) running without any problems until I got Furnace Engine.

      I agree that a windmill is better. However, you have to look at this from a new create mod player - if I spend the first couple of episodes not making any kind of working machine and just power sources and "useless" machines they won't want to continue with the mod and or create new machines.
      Believe me, there will be a power sources video coming soon. But players need to see some kind of reward after watching so many episodes :)

    As of 0.4, Iʼm pretty sure this is not better than Fortune III, and doesnʼt multiply raw metals only silk touched ones. Depending on the ore itʼs usually between Fortune I and Fortune II, but I think never as good as III unless you want the random other stuff too.

  • @Gilfort_
    @Gilfort_ Před 2 lety +1

    just being curious: what happens when you don't get a multiplicative of 9 nuggets and some stay in the press? wouldn't that screw up everything else if a different kind of ore is processed after?

    • @antongrigoryev6381
      @antongrigoryev6381 Před 2 lety +1

      Basin can hold several types of items at the same time. A few extra nuggets won't mess it up.
      However, it *is* possible for a basin to be overloaded so the press will stop working. I'm not exactly sure what are the exact circumstances for this issue to appear, the mechanics of Basin's internal inventory are hidden, but I get it when I was trying to build my own version. I'll do some tests and write here if I'll find something.

    • @antongrigoryev6381
      @antongrigoryev6381 Před 2 lety +1

      Apparently, it is a bug (I'm pretty sure it's a bug, everything worked fine in previous versions) with Basin in recent versions. I had a similar issue with potion mixing, I just didn't see the connection originally.
      Quick fix: you need to regularly update either Basin or Press. The easiest way to do it is to put Gearshift connected to a Redstone timer (I recommend using Adjustable Pulse Repeaters), so it switches direction every few seconds.
      Detailed explanation: "Basin system" (Basin paired with either Press or Mixer) can have only one available recipe active at a time. It means if the basin has 9+ iron nuggets, it starts working on the "Iron Ingot" recipe. But after it finishes the work, it doesn't check for another recipe automatically. So even if there were 9+ gold nuggets in there, it won't start working on the "Gold Ingot" recipe. The system checks for a new recipe only when updated - the easiest way to do it is to put/take an item(s) into/from the Basin or change the speed/direction of Press'/Mixer's rotation.
      In this particular system, such a situation happens when Basin gets the maximum amount of nuggets when it didn't finish the work with previous. It would happen only if your Belt/Crushing/Washing system is fast enough to put new nuggets into the Basin before Press finishes the work on the old ones, and can be avoided by managing the rotation speed of different things, but simply switching as I suggested above is easier.

    • @rockit14
      @rockit14  Před 2 lety +1

      So I have used this exact ore processing system for months now in multiple series and never ran intro that issue because of the way the nuggets go into the basin 1 by 1. And as soon as there are 9 nuggets it immediately presses it into one ingot
      Of course if you are running other mods there is a chance something might break - but adding a filter with the ingots should fix all of that

    • @antongrigoryev6381
      @antongrigoryev6381 Před 2 lety +1

      @@rockit14 The issue appeared only in 3.2, maybe even later (it's 3.2b now).
      But yeah, having Andesite funnel pretty much guarantees that it won't be fast enough for this issue to appear. It has a limit on maximum effective speed though and will take a while to process stacks of ores you would get from a quarry, for example.

    Unless it's to keep it simple, why not run a attribute filter specifying non washables on the auxiliary chest and washables on the basin funnel? I imagine it would be more expandable into other mods and new potential ores I'm the future?

    • @antongrigoryev6381
      @antongrigoryev6381 Před 2 lety

      It would be expandable in any way. Filters can hold any items, so you can just add any other items that you can get out of the ores you're processing.
