  • If you wanted to build this 2021 Traxxas TRX4 Bronco to the same spec in the UK, it would cost you over £800 ( $1000).
    2021 TRX4 Bronco - £500 ($660) alnk.to/9I9cJms
    Hobbywing Axe - £200 ($265) alnk.to/8iP8SQd
    Dmond Servo - £67 ($89) bit.ly/36EdMVd
    Proline Tyres - £50 ($66) alnk.to/e729fMt
    Wheels - £30 ($40) s.click.aliexpress.com/e/_9ubGGb
    Total - £847 ($1123)
    Luckily it cost me less than half that as I used my spares.

    I've had my Trx4 79 Bronco for 3 1/2 years and all of the stock electronics still work. Same with my Xmaxx, OEM servo, esc and motor. I've had really good luck with my Traxxas stuff.

      Ditto. If you stick with stock minus servos in some vehicles and some odd ball things your Traxxas rig should be reliable. I have Traxxas, axial, Tamiya etc

      Out of mine, and all my buddies numerous traxxas rigs, the stock servos don't last more than a month. And the trx4 steering servo is absolutely pathetic even when they work (

      @DB-qm4jx Před 2 lety

      @@HalibasterDillibickus Yeah I know I totally hear you. I agree the service suck unless you get like a slash for the kid or something but the TRX servo is decent if you’re just a trail driver. It definitely leaves a whole lot to desire for anything more than just going down to gravel path for sure. I have 22 Traxxas vehicles alone which is almost the whole catalog not flexing here just saying and I’ve never had an issue with any ESC. Except for on my E Revo 2.0 when I went to do a software update and forgot to turn my phone to airplane mode. I believe there are certain guys that can get away with like myself the standard stock stuff but I know there are other guys who are just hard-core probably such as yourself that need or want the aftermarket their motors and what not. My best friend is the same way he modifies everything and that’s awesome his rigs are always faster and perform better when they are running lol. My Arma axial cars are the same way I think the spectrum stuff is good OEM but for that next level you definitely need to upgrade although I will say I think spectrum has a better offering in the upgrade department if you choose to stick with stock. I do know that there are so many ways of doing a car up and that’s completely cool I just don’t have the time to pull equipment and add equipment with how many rigs I have if I whittle down that I might be more into modifying but with the limited time I have as it is I guess I just stick with what I got. No hate To you either I’m glad we could debate this without going to fisticuffs lol great talking to you

      @@DB-qm4jx Oooweee! 22! That's a whole Lotta traxxas! Lol.
      Yeah I'm into the hard-core crawling where stock steering servo just won't suffice, they brown out and get hot, then stop working relatively quickly. And I've never had any reliability issues when I ran a stock ESC, (though a few buddies have smoked theirs) I just really didn't like its performance at all. A 40 dollar HW1080 and a 20 dollar crawlmaster motor was one of the best things I ever did to it.
      Glad we can be civil as well, we're all in the hobby together, might as well be decent to each other:) one love, bro

My main reason for using them was their resistance to water damage. Ordinary foams rot after a while but donuts are made of plastic filiments so aren't effected. It is possible to use those beadlocks but it helps if you use three longer bolts to get them started.

The stock transmitter burns them out by over stressing them when you change gears or lock the diffs. I found out by chance when my stock transmitter broke, I bought a different brand transmitter and I have been on the stock little servos for 2 years. The main steering servo is bad though.
