The joy I experience after each successful attempt is undescribable 😊,
Also every failure (as a beginner) encourages me to learn more
I'm going to start a channel to upload my work as it builds up, for memories 😅

Like others this length try for under 20 min, give or take.
Best part is troubleshooting the methodical start to finish with the WHY you are looking where you are, how the process goes.
I've repaired a few Power Supplies (single voltage cheapos) where it gets bad for me was the multi-voltage power supplies. My Electronic ebgineering technical degree is almost 30 years old now & and I've done industrial maintenance for years since.
Lots of old industrial robots to machines count on these multi-voltage supplies. Repair is only option in VMEs & old German equipment, replacemnt often not an option unavailable .

15 minutes is a good length for a video. Longer than that and we tend to get bored lol. Great video and repair.

Nice vid. A bit longer is fine if technically required. I liked "I saved somebody 2 days of work".. that's exactly it!

@@electronicshaverightstolive Welcome. Too many people don't consider that to earn that $100 to spend, they also spent $ on rent, food, fuel, bus tickets, and taxes during those 2 days exclusively to earn that $100. Repairing a $100 item probably saved that person $130 at least.

The best duration of the video is fault finding and not skipping the fault finding parts and showing assembling and dissembling and cleaning parts. Fault finding in real time and soldering in real time other thing you can do the fast-forward, time is no essence when you show the actual fault finding which you skipped completely. Just to add one more thing you didn't tested any IC logic on the board and there were 6-7. Without them you will get the power and supply will power-up and will work but not for a long time nor stable, and there would be a problems.

Agree about showing fault finding and soldering. I also like to watch exactly that stuff. But I don't have digital microscope so far, so I can't create high quality microsoldering videos. Someday I will buy it. I can't agree about IC. I wonder how would you check logic IC. Gate pulses OK, I can check those with oscilloscope. Power good signal was also checked. But the rest of the details NO WAY. You will never find a repair technician who check all the ICs. It's economicly and reasonably impractical.

@@electronicshaverightstolive Its very hard that specific model has 6 IC OPP, OVP, UVP, OCP, OTP, and SCP.
In your case the one that I would check is OCP (Over Current Protection) because its job is to protect against short circuit and over current.
Second one to check is the SCP (Short Circuit Protection).
You need microscope, for the sake of your channel get one with IMX385 Sony Exmor.
