    What a breath of fresh air. I'm 19, and I know that I may not know much, but I really wish celebrities of this day and age could be this transparent and have more conversations with depth. I wish they took the time to do that. Until then, I'll continue to watch what I can find from special people like Jerry.

      Jerry being transparent? Take a look at the women he raped or had relationships with outside marriage.

    The interviewer had gall in the questions he asked at tImes but I think Jerry preferred direct frankness. He was very gracious, indulgent. patient and honest both in his listening and in his answers. He himself was direct and blunt and some people took issue with that. He was also kind, intelligent, talented, handsome, sexy. There had never been anyone like him nor will there ever be again. I miss you, Jerry.

    Jerry did think he'd be a huge movie writer/producer/director as he went into his 40's and 50's. But he made some movies in the late 60's that didn't star him that absolutely flopped. Then after the "Day The Clown Cried" disaster in 1972, no studio would even think about hiring him to direct their movies.

    • @rayjr62

    Jerry's terrific, he's intelligent, he's expressive. When he sits down like this, though, he also becomes pompous and boring. "I'd like to think that everyone likes charities" - you can practically hear the televisions across the country changing channels when he gets like that.

      There are no sons on the street. All of them received trusts. I believe you are referring to his out of wedlock daughter, that he supported as a toddler. Her mother married a rich man, and she grew up in privilege. None of her sons, nor her other family have stepped up to support her either. It seems everyone has broken ties with her.

Gary is touring with his band, Ronnie disowned all the family and has no contact with them, Scott is on poorer side, but he is not living on the street, I assure you. He should have divided his wealth evenly to his kids..they are your blood you brought them into this world....just divide it evenly already
    Leave them the money..you can't take it with you...using money to punish people by leaving it to one person and leaving the rest out is such ugly behavior...yes you are a great entertainer.and you have done great things but it is such ugly behavior....
    Well it's his money and he does whatever he wants with it...yes that's true but it is still such ugly behavior.
    The fans would have preferred to know that Jerry was such a wonderful fellow on and off the screen...
    That's my opinion and I welcome yours.

    • @givethechanceakid

      He gave them trusts that weren't listed in the will. Anyway, no child is entitled to their parent's money and that's utterly ridiculous. It's a privilege to receive it, not a right! Some of his son's ugly behavior to Jerry and Patti, and other siblings did not warrant any inheritance. Period. Would you give an adult son, that stole from you and your ex-wife, an inheritance? I don't think so.

    It strikes me that both of these people hated Muhammed Ali and never believed in him or supported him during his exile from boxing.
    Jerry thought he was a fraud as a boxer a huckster and a big bag of wind.
    And David thought he was a clown and a felon who was used and dupped the Black Muslim group.

    • @givethechanceakid
      @givethechanceakid  Před 2 lety +3

      That's a bold faced lie, and Jerry Lewis and Muhammed Ali were friends. He was on Jerry's show, and Muhammed needed a few humbling words from Jerry. That was as a friend and in fun. Muhammed read a poem to Jerry, as a friend as well. But Jerry never called him a fraud, huckster, or big bag of wind, and you know it.
