I love watching you. Seeing Abigail and Priscilla loving each other in the kitchen was so sweet. Sometimes the best feelings are felt and not heard. My son still has to have the same routine and he is 25. He was diagnosed at 2 1/2. Isaiah learned a good lesson and turns everything around to be a good positive learning lesson. What a great kid! Great family. My favorite!

We just had a winter hurricane yesterday with 10 inches of snow in NYC and it’s currently 16 degrees but feels like -3 with the wind chill. I would love to be in Florida right now lol

Speaking of the swing, you might find something called a hugglepod useful for Abbie. It’s pretty much a pod that hangs on the swing stand like y’all have and she can climb in and can sway around. There is small openings so the parents can check in but the main opening can close for sensory purposes.

Priscilla, get a roomba! They have them for as cheap as like $200 and they’re totally worth it. The higher end models can run on their own at the same time every day if you’d like, otherwise pressing GO before you leave for work and coming home to a clean floor without having to do it yourself is an amazing feeling 😍
Christmas Vacation was supposed to have ended on Wednesday. The school had a 2 hour delay on Wednesday and no school on Thursday and today. It's 14 degrees here. No snow just cold.

One idea that comes from a Canadian working with people on the spectrum is long socks on their hands instead of mittins. Long socks that go to their elbow helps. They can still flap and stim inside the socks but their fingers don't get cold and chapped.
So much awesomeness in this vlog lol!!! Priscilla, i hope you found & love your swiffer sweeper. I don't have one for my place because it wouldn't be useful here but i do have a wet jet that is great for my kitchen, bathrooms & small foyer. However, I have a side job doing housekeeping & the main floor of the home with the exception of one area is all pergo & tile. They have animals as well. The swiffer sweeper is the best thing ever for that job & so convenient. I laughed so hard at the interaction between Mom & Abby about returning to school!!! Haha...such a typical response lol especially when she was hugging/holding you as if to butter you up & not make her go!! Priscilla, I just about choked on my coffee watching & listening to you argue with Alexa!!!! 😂😂😂😂😂😂 The city/town i live in doesn't have any meters anywhere. I had no idea about that rule/law with them although I cant say I recall a time in the 20 years I've been driving that ive ever used/needed to use a spot anywhere even in other cities that had a meter. It's good to know though for future reference in case I do. Thanks for sharing even though it was at Isaiah's expense lol (sorry for laughing. It's funny even though it sucks!)
In WNY we are in the -° with ft of snow...but today all the schools are closed. When Cy was young he'd tare off his hat and gloves. The only ticket I ever got was on a country road for parking the wrong direction. The judge was my old school bus driver and he set the ticket aside and asked all about me, my brother and family...I never had to pay the ticket.

My grandson loves wearing gloves. He almost never goes thru a day without them. Its hard for him to try and understand that he cant wear them in the summer. We just let him wear them in the house when its summer time because if we let him wear them out we get stares from people and than we have to explain his need to wear gloves all the time.

I knew of a family that baked potatoes and when they were real warm but cool enough to handle, the put them in their kid's pockets. If they didn't want to wear gloves they could hold on to the potatoes. If they wanted, they could go and sit in the cafeteria when they got to school and eat their potatoes with the condiments. It's okay, my echo does it to me every now and then. But I also just do it by hand if I ask two times and it doesn't work.

2 times through the Birthday song is roughly the correct time for brushing teeth and washing hands.
I knew of a family that baked potatoes and when they were real warm but cool enough to handle, the put them in their kid's pockets. If they didn't want to wear gloves they could hold on to the potatoes. If they wanted, they could go and sit in the cafeteria when they got to school and eat their potatoes with the condiments. This is in the 60's but I think its a good idea. Hey, I love Swiffers!

Today where I live in Canada. It was -40 with the windchill! and I know for sure that wasn't the coldest.
