I noticed yeej.chan's painting while walking around in many directions, and I really like the shape and color of his face, so I refer to it a lot when I draw! I like the way the video is recorded, at least it doesn't look laggy. Although the recording of the screen still usually looks better, because the hand does not flicker before your eyes. Hopefully, the following videos will be either with this video recording technique or with less laggy screen recording 😊
I prefer this filming style cause I can see your process more accurately and I learn a lot in this way ❤ And if it’s possible can you do a eye colouring tutorial?
I understand now ! To have a good light source and all you have to put a multiply layer then do the light with an add layer and THEN color the edge of the light to make it more "lively" is that it ?
Oh,the coloring of the edge is based off of real life.If you didn't know,when the sunlight hits us,on the edge of the light,there will be an orange glow.Its meant to give it a bit of a more "realistic" touch/detail.Hope that helped!
You can imagine that the camera tripod is between me and the tableXD I can't see the drawing screen with my head and need to stretch to the side hahaha

If you mean referencing as in doing a study of one of her works you don’t necessarily need to ask for permission. If you post it, giving credit to the artist and disclosing that it’s a study should be good enough.
if you're an artist, drawing from references a lot and studying the same things creates a visual library that allows you to draw from memory. sorry if that sounds confusing lol but the more times you draw something the easier it becomes

You should use an overlay layer instead of add. You should also use add but overlay is what most artists including yeejchan use
