How do you practice self love or self care? This process may look different for everyone and you have to learn how to love yourself as an individual. There is an epidemic of low self-worth, mostly because of things depicted on social media and within the media. Self love is more than just changing your hair, changing your wardrobe, or attempting to redefine yourself. Self love is about learning to appreciate yourself physically, emotionally, and spiritually. The record has a double meaning, not only loving yourself mentality but also physically. Jayson Lyric believes self care is a huge component of self love. It builds self awareness, self worth, and self esteem. Remember loving yourself is not selfish, therefore, find daily routines to treat yourself and to find a deeper connection of self.

Self love is breaking generational curses and Barriers the ones that’s told us “family is everything” “don’t saying we’re family” “you better not say anything” That taught us to keep everything to ourselves that hurt us we learned to lose our voices we learned that we didn’t matter. All of “shut up before I knock your teeth out” taught us our feelings didn’t matter. I’m in therapy and learning so much about myself we breaking this trauma it’s not too late. It’s ok to put yourself first bcz if we aren’t good then how our we gonna break these curses for our babies. I’m proud of you

This song definitely resonates with my journey of self care and self love. I have gotten into meditation along with Yoga and I feel so much better. I vibe high. It's been a struggle but I am not quitter. People can come with their negative vibes, I simply remove myself. I get the negative vibes alot at work and my polite way of removing myself is, "Ahh excuse me, I got to go the restroom" go release and close that door and reset that mind and attitude. We all fall pray to company gossip, but when you notice yourself doing it excuse yourself and reset. It's a struggle but Gentle Beautiful People - WE GOT THIS!!
