What ikea app are you using on your phone that has install directions? I can't get the remote that come with the blinds to pair.
I can only watch this with the sound muted.

@@iamdenislara HomeKit is Apple's home automation platform which is built-in to nearly Apple device and allows you to use Siri to control smart home products. The IKEA Tradfri gateway is largely exposed to HomeKit =, but it's still lacking full integration.
You have an idea why mine's won't sync all it does is blink and then the white light comes back after I pass the hearing button down

But you must huve a gateway ikea for the configuration on the phone? Because i have that blind but i control only with the two buttons...i'm not expert on this things, thanks if you answer me

I'm curious, when you set up multiple curtains do you have to do this process with every single one or can I do it with each curtain(and same remote) once gateway and repeater are connected?

Stephen Pelly yes, I have two blinds on one signal amplifier and one controller. It has worked well for me:)

simaticgio I’m not sure, but I have charged them only once, one week after getting them. (Probably because they weren’t fully charge from the factory)
Do you need a signal repeater for each blind, or just one pr room?
keeshaug you can use one pr room!! You can connect multiple blinds pr signal amplifier.

ah Kin I am very happy with mine and do not regret it. They are reliable and I have not had any problems. However, it isn’t a necessary product for most people. They are obviously more expensive than regular ones , but as I mentioned, I’m very happy with mine. They fit well into a smart home:)
@@TechMaze1 exactly, I am into jome automation so much, and this will be a learning curve for me. I got now only my Robovac, and loved the convenience that comes with home automation. I am extremely grateful for the quick reply, totally appreciate it, I'll let you know once I get it. If you have any tips before buying, please let me know, I'd be grateful
@@TechMaze1 sorry one quick question. The space of my framed window I can fit it in is 140 cm. But it says on the description 144 width of roller, and 140 width of fabric. That means it cannot fit my space, right?
ah Kin unfortunately it will not fit. As you see in the video, there are about 2 cm on each side of the fabric. The total length of the "box" above the blinds is 144 cm and will therefore not fit into a 140 cm frame. If it is not a deep frame, a suggestion may be to mount it on the outside of the frame.

Why is the right blind not in sync?
Christian Ingemann I think it’s because I have paired them to the same signal amplifier, so they may receive the signal at a different rate. Hopefully this will get better over time with software updates!

Nils Pedersen Veldig fornøyd med mine. Har ikke hatt noen problemer og de funker som de skal. I Ikea appen, kan man sette en timer, slik at de går opp eller ned til et spesielt tidspunkt. Jeg har satt, slik at når vekkerklokken ringer på morningen, er rullgardinen oppe. De har også veldig god batteritid. Har bare ladet de en gang:)
@@TechMaze1 Herlig! Da blir det nok en sånn til soverommet. Bare så irriterende jeg må ut med 690,- i frakt til IKEA ;p

@@SmartGamerPT I needed the hub when I bought it for it to work with a smartphone, but I don’t know if they have made any changes. If you don’t have the hub, I think you only can use it with the remote control included

I have read that it does not work with alexa yet, but it will eventually. However it works with google assistant!
Cool tech but when you mount it like that there's no way you can open the window 🤔🤔🤔
I CAN open the window. The blinds are mounted in the sealing inside the window frame.
@@TechMaze1 not sure what country you live in .. but here the windows open inside the interior ... so no, we can not open window due the installed curtains.
