Right before dimes murder there was talk of him being done with damageplan, and said he wanted to do whatever it took to get Pantera back together. We would have had Pantera if he wouldn't have been killed. If you're mad at somebody get mad at Nathan Gale.
Charlie Benante of Anthrax drags? I don't know a lot of people who would back your statement on that one. Even at 60, he's still considered one of the best thrash drummers
@@tattooedberserker Yeah, to me it seems like he's dragging a bit. No swing. It may well be that Vinnie just had _so MUCH_ swing in his playing that when hearing "Pantera" without him, it doesn't sound like its breathing and pulsing nearly as well. So as technically sound a drummer as Benante is - yes, I am of the opinion that he's dragging in a lot of these performances. I may not have been in one of the "big 4" metal/thrash bands but I am a professional musician and I'm certain many others would agree. Often, players like Benante - and rightfully so - garner so much respect for being a part of such well loved bands/music that often times, people won't make mention if and when their playing isn't right for something or isn't up to par/what it once was or could be. Most likely it's the fact that he's coming from decades of playing in a thrash band like Anthrax that's always at or ahead of the beat and coming into a band like Pantera that's unique in that their music is _HELLA_ grooving with a lot of back beat feel. So it's a totally different muscle memory and sense of timing. I think they picked him more for camaraderie and personality - which is totally fine - but I think musically they'd have been better served by finding a drummer from a metal band that came up _under_ and/or after Pantera. I get the same sense from Benante with Pantera as I do when Jason Bonham played with Led Zepplin; he drags and sucks the life/breath out of the tunes. But that's just like, my opinion, man.
Was there badass 🤘
this is good for your ears...love it...
No dime no Vinnie no Pantera this is a tribute band
Yes, Phil already acknowledged that
JFC we get it stop crying about it.
Nothing more than a tribute band is correct 👌 Seen over 30 Pantera shows and they were all better than this karaoke 🎤 crap
I live 4 miles away and head them play from my backyard 😂
Was a loud show
One helluva Pantera tribute band and I'll leave it at that.
Phil seems to be in better physical conditions, considering the experiences he's been through.
What I'd give to be there
hell yeah I was there too it was the best🤟💜🤟💜🤟💯
They should be playing it at a slightly faster pace IMO.
Slow Motion ..laughing to the Bank
Are they coming to Milwaukee soon?
They were there today, 7/31/23
What did Rina Haney say?
Phill sounds good!
That dude is only 5 years older than me and he moves like an 80 year old man
Back surgery prob the reason
Considering he has a fucked up neck and back that’s probably the reason
Hes lived twice the life
maybe 3 lifes combines@@HowreYanow1
Abbott's would never play with phil if they were alive
Vinny never spoke for dime. Period

Cover band. This is sad and pathetic.
No it’s not a cover band it’s pantera and it fucking rules
Say you want a thumbs-down without saying it 🤣
Just not impressed with the drummer. He drags.
