A old neighbour of mine had a underground garage for 12 cars. On top was a double garage. The right hand bay was a ramp lift. .so you could watch 14 cars come out of a freestanding double garage.. super cool
Bloody love Colin, and been watching him for years. I originally got hooked on the pulse jet videos so probably been watching for around a decade. He seems like such a down to earth bloke and I could genuinely listen to him for hours. An excellent idol chat!
Laughed outloud so many times during this, Colin is such a funny and interesting guy. Great to hear him talk in a more long form piece of content. Great work Jonny lad!

I remember finding his channel back in the summer of 08, sat in an office a very calm day at the summer workplace. It was either FAST fast food, or carwash with no windows. I almost couldn't breath from laughing! 😄

Blimey what a nice guy, if ever I was to get stuck in a lift with someone it would be Colin Furze, not only would he keep me entertained with his endless stories but he could probably fix it as well or at the very least make it into some sort of battering ram so we could smash our way out!
If you ever find out what the german furz translates into english you probably would be much less enthusiasastic about such a phantasy....

I’m a local Stamford lad so you both have always been massive inspirations to me so watching these interviews has been like Christmas coming early. Ps I also have a 1992 Vauxhall nova saloon full granny spec with a 2.0 B204 Saab engine

Two years ago, Colin said that he's gonna make an underground garage below the front of his house. Fast forward to November 2023 and he's started it!!

thats why I like 90s/early 2000s stuff. it has enough electronics that it starts when its cold and will probably be in the same parking space as you left it but not enough that it beeps at you because you have passed the service interval without plugging a machine in to reset the timer or turns the dash into a christmas tree because you had the audacity to use a non-OEM part
If there's a next time, maybe Jonny can ask him about the mongol rally. He has the sticker on the ceiling of this shed. I did it 2 years after him, but have never heard him talk about his experience.

I make sure my boy watches every video (and he got a genuine safety tie for Xmas last year!). The best bit for me is when Colin shows us what didn't work, or what went wrong. Such a valuable lesson for a 7yo who just loves building stuff in Minecraft.
someone in corby near the water towers had a underground carpark with the lawn on top i believe in the late 70s early 80s remember seeing it on blue peter, operated by electric hydraulics or a hand pump if the power failed

I'd love and hate to have him as a neighbour 😆. Be great having a chat and seeing what mad stuff he is doing but you're also at risk of something going horribly wrong at the same time.
I would love to know what the local council thinks of Colin's planning applications for housing modifications. most struggle jo put up a shed.

Colin should speak to the folks at Wöhr UK who manufacture car lifts and robot parking structures.
My kids favourite toy when they were young was a hole - just to hole I dug in the back garden and they would play in it for hours with spades and bits of concrete. Their friends would come from all around to play. Cheapest toy ever.
I dug a hole when i was a kid, it got filled back in when my dad nearly paralysed himself.
a million percent true that tightness prevents addiction/junkies - no impulsiveness, no overdoses, no gambling debts, no bastard children etc.
I know Colin was still "performing" in this video, but other than being rather less manic, he seems just like his CZcams persona - and a really nice guy.

We worked on a house in Macclesfield where the owner (stupidly wealthy) had a garage built that stored 4 cars but planning would only permit the footprint of a double garage. So £250k later a garage like Colin's ideal driveway was built.
