I don't see how anyone could be mad at your assessment of Stalingrad because it's mostly correct. I feel almost the same way about Afrika Korps and I've played the game a bunch but it's way past it's prime and it isn't really a good game to me anymore. With that being said I do think if someone is interested in the history of wargames they should play them just for a reference or see the evolution of the mechanics. Anytime an old Grog wants to play one of those early AH games with me I am very leary of it just because they will usually clean my clock.
