- Pecans, caramel and chocolate, what's not to love about pecan turtles!? We've changed how we made our pecan turtles a lot over the years, and this is just how we're currently making them. Who knows how we'll be making them next year! đ€·

It has been a joy to watch Hercules Candy grow from tiny batches of candy in the basement, to moving to your new store, learning and developing new techniques, bringing on employees to help with making, packaging and selling candy. I remember Steve dropping caramel with a spoon. It was a joy watching you thrive and survive through the pandemic. Iâve been watching since No Egg Craig days. Iâm so happy for your success!
Thanks for all the support Patti!
Aww, Steve and his script. That was so cute.
Did I hear a turtle scream while being cut in half?
Lol!
It was screams of joy!
I laughed out loud at that. That scream is called a 'Wilhelm Scream' and can be heard in lots and lots of TV shows and movies for the last 70 years now.
It screaming for chocolate
Lol, yeah I had to rewind it just to make sure that was what I heard, and then had a good laugh. :-)
Uncle Joe! And his hot caramel history lesson đ
Love the little scream đ± in the background when he cut the double carmel apart, your sound effects are awsome!
I did too đ
We neeeed a video of the giant peanut butter cups! đ€đ Please! đ
I second that! đââïž
These videos help my anxiety
i deal with a lot of anxiety and anxiety attacks on a day to day basis but after discovering this channel i often leave your videos playing in the background and it makes me feel calm.
i dont know how to explain this feeling but thank you for your content :)
You would love some ASMR videos then!
Stay blessed
They are a peaceful family âșïž
Praying Godâs peace for youâŠthe peace that passes understanding â€
Now itâs officially a âšgood morningâš
Chocolate, caramel and nuts, oh my!!!
âWhere are the turtles?!?!?â- Michael Scott
That looks like a much more efficient way to make turtles, omg. Iâm taking notes
All ya need is a funnel and a stick!
Pecan milk chocolate turtles are the best, my favorite!
They're very popular!
Dark chocolate turtles, yummy!!
The scream when the turtles were divided. đ€Ł
Ah Steve is always good for a chuckle.
More Joe!
Itâs nice to see Joe and Max. I still miss them. Hope they are doing well.
"That something that people could make at home"
So thats how marketing works!
If course you can do it at home... But it won't tase the same.
I have watched you from the time in your basement!! Always love your âdonât take yourself so seriouslyâ attitude. Yet candy is high standard. Thanks for another chuckle and now I am drooling for some chocolate!!! đâ€ïž
I remember Steve back in the day when it was it was done practically in slow motion compared to now. Also Steve and Max always had to check the bottoms of each turtle if it was fully covered. This is so much better. #iykyk đâ€â€
Lol I am one of the short people who bugs the tall ones to grab things off shelves for me. I'm only 5' đ to all the tall people out there, thank you!
Same, with my roomies now I usually just call out "Hey tall personnnnn" (I live w 2 tall ppl) and they come and grab stuff for me đ
I just love all your videos. The candy always looks good. The video editing is so terrific and I love the outros. They make me laugh and make me feel so much better.
This candy is the goodest. Great vidya, Craig. Thanks, Hercules crew, for all you do:)
I would love a series where you go to small candy shops and try their homemade candy and rate it!
Steve at the end was the best part! lolol
Love seeing the process for my fav candy!!! â€ïž
I enjoyed this video so much - my mouth waters just looking at the pecans and caramel and chocolate đ« đł đ
Iâve learned sooooo much about candy đ and watching you all grow and develop your company and team has been delightful and inspiring.
Thank you!!!!!
Yum! I make these too but I use butter to thin out my caramel and then sprinkle, very little, the tops with sea salt after theyâre covered in chocolate. Also for do-it-yourselfers, place a thin layer of chocolate in a parchment paper lined rectangular cake pan. Then place a layer of pecans or whatever nuts you want. Then cover these layers with caramel. Put in refrigerator. In ten minutes take it out and place the top layer of chocolate and sprinkle with sea salt if you want. Put back in fridge for ten minutes and then cut into small squares. Less time consuming for those of us that donât have a chocolate enrober! Lol
Thatâs actually really smart, thanks!!!
I just laid a tray of pecans did blobs of caramel and then when they set I just put a few into a bowl of melted chocolate and used a fork to get rid of the excess.
@@xolio1993 first time I did it by dipping in chocolate tooâŠ.but we have a very large family and get togethers are huge. If I dipped, Iâd be dipping for at least 2-3 days. Dipping does make them look prettier!
What type caramel do you use, or do you make it yourselves? Thanks
@@jackandjill9065 I used the Brachâs caramels that come in little squaresâŠindividually wrapped. I put a little butter in the pan when melting them.
I like turtles!
It would be totally awesome to see them make a jumbo peanut butter cup like your mother talked about please!!!
I have really bad insomnia and your long videos always help me get to sleep at night! Thank you! I have seen every video on the channel at least twice lol. Keep up the great work â€ïž
I'm glad we can help, also try WhispersRedASMR and Gentlewhisperingasmr.

The man said, "that's slow" and I realized I was impatiently drooling!
Steve great job .God bless you all.
Steve is a natural actor :)
Anyone else dream of riding thru the enrober face up, mouth open? đ€© Yâall are the best & I've really enjoyed watching your business grow over the years. Congratulations, you deserve itâŁïž
Well I am now đ€€
How about hazelnuts and walnuts combo?
So glad I found this channel. love from Monaghan, Ireland
They look so so good!
I've been watching for a while now and just figured out you guys are 30 minutes from my house. I brought the grandbabies in last week and they loved it. You're Peanut Butter Brittle took me back to my (very) younger years. It was the County Fair all over again. You have a customer for life!
Iâm at work right now and I really really NEED some dark chocolate pecan turtles right now!
You guys are such fun to watch I really enjoy your program
This method is high speed compared to the old ways
Y'all great ! Thank you for keeping us happy during a pandemic !
Love you guys!!!

Steve is just so darnâŠ.good lol
they look sooo good!!
Omg! I just want to dive into that Carmel! Sooo amazing!
Katydids or turtles one of America's best inventions!!!yummy for my tummy!!!! Yum!!!! Yummmm!
They could almost make small guest packs named after family/employees like Trotting Terry Creams, Super Steve Sampler, and the Share'n Karen Assortment comes to mind. Though the Joe might be Wood is Splinters Turtles/Bark rings a bell as well and kudos on being open once more trust come the holidays there will be a line of customers out the door...đđ
Why are you breaking off the turtles' legs, heads, and tails?
Ooooo Dark Chocolate Turtles w/ a little salt?! Heaven!!
Sea salt turtles have been in my idea file for a few years now - think we should pull the trigger?
@@HerculesCandy Iâm biased, but I canât see how that *wouldnât* be crazy delicious!
Thumbs up because the video, prior purchased products, and the website are all good!đđđ
Steve good work at the end of video.
The turtles look delicious! It was nice of you to feature Uncle Joe today, Craig and Dylan. That turtle scream will keep me awake tonight! đ€Łđ€Łđ€Ł The snippet of Steve at the end of the video was hilarious!
Love watching you lovely people x
Me and my grandma have a shared love of chocolate turtles. When I was little I straight up believed the crunch was from the turtle shell.
Love your method of making turtles. I made them making look like actual turtles and it was a nightmare keeping the pecans the way the need to be.
THANKYOU for your video !This has got to be the EASIEST way to make turtles ! I look forward to trying your recipe đđđâ€â€â€
Craig, why are the videos becoming so short? I love the longer videos!
Fun video, I love watching that chocolate enrober
Ohh my, love these !!!đ
âWhen the enemies are scaling the walls they pour hot caramel on themâ
Ah yes, the prefect defensive tactic; to make the enemy so distracted by licking the scrumptious hot caramel off of themselves that they donât notice you getting the upper hand in battle. VERY STRATEGIC SIR!đ
It's how the Roman Empire was toppled!
@@HerculesCandy So true! And the Gauls/Ottomans/many historical Chinese and English family lines and dynasties, etc. Practically every ancient empire was overthrown by way of confectionery
One of my favourite sweet combos
Very interesting. Thanks so much
This is a great idea, to have shorter videos, and MORE of âem! đđGreedily rubbing my hands together.
Wow! That was good!

That was very soothing to me
I love the cashew turtles very much.

@@HerculesCandy the pecans are very good also.

He has left and they are working on a video of his best bits.
I just know I'm going to end up shopping on your website when I get my paycheck in a few days. âșđ€€ the turtles look goodđ

Love your turtlesâșïž
I make these every year during the holidays.
Hello chocolatiers chris here in Canada really enjoy watching đ
Blessings dear friends!
I love your channel and I have shared your information with people.
I currently am in the middle of major foods changes.
My arthritis really does not like sugar in any form so I have to remove all temptations.
Iâm sorry to say that I will have to unsubscribe from your wonderful channel to help myself through this change.
I will share your channel again on Facebook then log off.
Blessings to everyone, I have truly enjoyed getting to know you all!đđđđđđđ
I have also had to eliminate sugar and these luscious treats from my diet- but I come to Hercules videos for my sugar fix. I mentally enjoy all the treats they make without any guilt or pain. I have to go back to the old videos to watch some of the lusciousness from years past- Steve made chocolate covered cherries the way my Dad taught me-... so those are extra special. I cannot purchase candies but I can support my favorite candy company by watching videos and using the lovely calendar.
Just wanted you to know unless the videos are complicating your issues- you can continue watching.
If you need to leave- it is fully understood. I wish you well on your journey to better health and less pain. ... love from another subscriber.

đ thanks đ
That would be so good if you made those into broken pieces that you can crumble over your vanilla ice cream. Now I got a major craving!! *sigh* lol đđ
That Wilhelm scream.
From most movies, I was trying desperately to remember the name.
Love your video's. Great ending Steve to this one lol.
Hi love the videos such a lovely family and work environment I do have one question though the candy press used to make the hard candies what is it? I really want to try my own đ

@@HerculesCandy - Thank you, wow, thatâs great news. I live in the UK, would they survive our current heatwave? Would a cold pack last long enough to protect them?
Edit: I just clicked your link and read about shipping. I guess Iâd better wait for cooler weather, and hope you have them in stock then. Iâm disappointed, but Iâm sure they will taste all the sweeter for the anticipation.
