This really is the best way to store cordage. The small learning curve pays for itself in time wasted detangling. Thanks for this video.

I’m cleaning out the garage and trying to organize rope that is constantly tangled. Yours was the first video that popped up for rope storage. Very handy, thank you for taking the time to share your expertise

You know this, it never occurred to me until I watched you, but this is exactly how I coil yarn but on a bigger scale. I have been labouring under the assumption that I am just rubbish at coiling ropes when I actually knew all along but it hasn't translated in my mind until I saw you. Thank you.

You should show how well or easily you can uncoil or deploy the coiled rope. If it comes out all tangled, then the neatness doesn't mean much.

    • @smilingimpact2580

This is great. I have converted to this method for all my cordage. No tangles quick to store quick to deploy.

This is great. Putting a shed together in outside hot son so got a big tarp too big 8×10 omg $11 almost, so using small $6 or so one on Amazon, both strong nice blue color light & reg & using 1 weak knot easier double it as guy on here on CZcams I found in my search.
Your video along with that is great for my project, etc. Hopefully for the future can refer to it, cuz I most likely forget, not practice, etc, not good at that specially worse since covid worry effects from how life has changed, problems, depression worse from it, & losses of money, etc, etc. my memory learning is worse.
I don't kneed the longer 10 count one, but could only get 2 of easier ones to tie tarp as shelter from sun under storage shed. Big one will put over the shed once built for extra rain protection once get anchors. Not sure yet how will hold it don if not get a kit with 6 or so to add 4 or one on each corner & 2 with tope since the metal wire kits are way more & I spent allot & not want to pay more, but if I need extra ground auger hooks I guess might have to if need for the tarp.
I am already broke almost & still need to buy a few more items for it. Got a nice drill, etc on Amazon. Some few lesser items like. a 2 pun anchor with rope is. on home Depot, the floor metal frame is on Garage Organizer website. . I hope to find one with 6 & row for sale cheap. I doubt it though. In the future I will get metal wire tie wire one. I hope can link through inside like a guy saw on here.
The is on back porch is my front porch landlady's yard old effc appt I live at, so the shed will be on old concrete porch floor. and in front of bedroom window at ac no less, which is blocked out anyhow so no actual window to see out of nor bathroom, nor kitchen one above sink, only to alley way fence narrow reg size alley. Gee wiz.
Low lighting here too. Luke yellow. hate it. I only bit of space or place I can set it, & can only anchor on back etc side on 2 sides or one, not sure how will hook up the other end actually that is. Their back yard is my front yard. lol not so fun in some ways sometimes. Not slow enough or close up.
I will need to find other videos that may help more. I'm more visual the audio learner, & need to see more then hear or together. Instructions alone won't help. Is okay for a seasoned practiced learned or men as yourself, but me a gal no way.
I made it messy looking, plus not get how you closed it through loop, etc. At least is sort of tiend up. Lol . It is only a 50', not too long one.
Maybe if I ever have thick longer rope I can use your video for that. It may work on that 1. lol. Iwill keep trying later on to learn perfectly for small one as well. Lol
