Hey guys! I hope you are doing well! Im sorry about my energy in this video I am still not doing the best but I am working through it! So I think I actually enjoyed these boxes but I think there are a couple issues. I really didn't like that I wasn't able to elect my products even though I still had time to do so and Im just not sure of the inclusion of a $200 product that seems to be potentially gimmicky. However, I think this might be my favorite out of the "New" Ipsy boxes even though it is pretty pricey! Let me know your thoughts! Love ya💖

I don't think the $200 skin care thing should count. They are absolutely a scam, they came out awhile ago and I can't remember who it was, but they debunked all the claims. Plus like that review said, hardly any skin care actually works with it. If I remember correctly they were pushing a certain skincare brand when you got down to it, it was like the only skincare that would work with it so pretty sure there was kickback or something going on!

I tried to cancel all my ipsy/fake boxy the other day. Was able to do the glam bag, old lux, BUT, was unable to cancel the old regular boxy. They set it up to where you can't actually cancel your subscription without contacting someone. Super frustrating. When they sent me the "iconbox" with cut up paper and a broken eyeshadow pallet, I was officially done.
Canceling ISPY was a nightmare for me when I stopped in like 2016. Couldn’t/ wouldn’t cancel mine online and kept trying to insist I called. Had to basically make a scene and threaten action because as a disabled customer who has to use a TTS to make phone calls and even then it’s an immense struggle, canceling over the phone only should not be the only option. I had to play all the damn cards to get them to cancel over email, including telling them I was going to report the charges as unauthorized and that this was my formal written email to cease consent for payments to be made to my account. Whole damn nightmare, “glad” to see they’re up to the same bullshit

It's actually refreshing to watch a CZcams influencer who doesn't spend every video spending thousands of dollars on wasteful and unrealistic "hauls" and doesn't hide the fact that they are a normal human. I am pretty sure that the 200 bluetooth thing does not work like they said. Sure, it might help to some extent but not the way they say it "forces the products deeper into your skin" or what it was. And I think keep 2 of the boxes, to get a wide(r) range of products maybe one skincare heavy one and one makeup heavy one? I dont know, I think these videos are super fun as a beautybox subscriber myself (Glossybox), I wish we had Ipsy over here because I love the fact that you get a bag with every one!

You got some great boxes. Yeah, I think 2 boxes is plenty enough and that's a great idea to make the profiles very different to hopefully get a wider range of products. They do go off your history as well though so they might not change right away. Make sure you review the products bc that helps you get what you want in your boxes too. One of those boxes has the beauty boost bc the Ole Henriksen moisturizer was the beauty boost this month. Loved the video as always! Hugs to the boys!

Boy do I feel you there. Mega-stress from dealing with Murphy-fueled issues with kiddos school during finals week, as well as my cat being sick and my car breaking down at the worst time. Debating on making Tablet, Cake, or Brownies. Might hide in a blanket fort insteas.

I've learned you can only customize on the 2nd of the month no matter what it says. That mascara was actually impressive, I'm not normally a fan of the MAC mascaras. I was happily surprised. 😂 I can't get excited about the exercising either. But the cream seemed nice on my skin, not sure how well it works. I haven't had an allergic reaction in the test spot yet, though, so that's positive. I got the primrose palette and blue tooth thing as well. The jlo face cream smells sunscreen-y. The brushes were nice. The Peach lipstick might smell good. I got one not sure of color match but my cold that it was desert at first. 😂 I was like, please, don't eat that. I'm jealous you're had packing foam mine didn't and some of the products showed the bad packing issues. Broken issues

The box I subscribe to has a small window of customisation also so I set up a reminder in my phone. Also being I Australia 🇦🇺 I have to take into consideration the time / day difference as well.

My tuxedo cat, Levi has a nest under my side table. He steals my things and put them in his nest. If he hears me rummaging through his nest, he comes running in attack mode. And, I guess I was lucky because I got the Modern Renaissance Palette. It's fine, but surprisingly it has a lot of dustiness to it, but the pigment is pretty good.
The shipping costs are outrageous.
Depending on who the next so called 'Icon' is, I may be cancelling.

Great video, that Bluetooth skincare device was a joke. If Ipsy is trying to improve their image they certainly failed with that item. Even listing it for $200, just wow. I can get a great set of Bluetooth headphones for less than that. Think of all the workin things you can get with $200. I just can’t quit thinking of how horrible it is and to claim it’s so expensive, who do they think they’re fooling 😂

For exercise you could try water workout classes. I go to the arthritis classes in a warm therapy pool but there are others for different levels. I found my classes at our YMCA.

I like the products that you received in the box's, I liked a lot of the products but my favourite were the Palette and the face and eye cream items and the peach lipstick I like peach tone lipstick they give me that nice subtle colour to my lips, I love anything peach lol! Fab video I enjoy seeing what kind of products you end up getting in these unboxing videos and to see what new products are out there. 😊💯

My Icon box just shipped today. Due to arrive on the 9th of JUNE!!! I did get the Boost in an advent calender last year and can honestly say I have noticed a difference in how well my skin care is absorbed. I was very skeptical about it, but have been pleasantly surprised by how well it works, once you master the process of programming the damn thing 😂
Hi Alexandra. I decided to skip that box. And I did cancel the Glam bag plus when it was around. The only one I kept is the Regular Ipsy glam bag. I still enjoy those, plus I get to buy add ons. Thanks for sharing. 🥰🙏
I wonder if you did a profile with a dark skin tone you might get makeup with deeper more adventurous tones. Then you could donate any complexion products that don’t work to shelters like you were doing before but keep the more adventurous/deep color cosmetics.

I hate IPSY so much. I canceled my subscription a couple of years back, and because of the buyout, I received the box again. I decided to give them another try, and I regret it so much. Two shades of my Primrose palette were broken, so I reached out for a replacement. I was told they sold out and refunded me $7.50. They also were very generous and gave me 2000 points to redeem for their crappy leftover products. I am no longer a subscriber, I know it won't make much of a difference, but they will no longer get my money.
How did you unsubsidized. I can't even get a response to my emails. I also pay annually.

I tried the ABH brow serum when it first came out, bzzagent sent it to me to review, I used it per the directions for 12 weeks and i didn't see any growth, maybe they felt softer like conditioner makes your hair softer but hopefully it works better for you. I've still never tried any ABH palettes, I think I'm the only person who hasn't 😢😂 That 200 $ skincare gizmo screams wish product or like it would be found in the"as seen on tv" aisle in Walgreen's 😂😂😂 The larger boxes weren't too bad, a nice variety of items. The little bag was just "eh". You look beautiful as always. Thanks for sharing!
My glambag was actually pretty good this month, 4 deluxe samples and a full size mascara, and one of my deluxe samples was a perfume! I was amazed.

Your boxes were way better than mine. My profile is makeup heavy and marked as a blonde. I got one mini palette and a brow pencil in medium brown when I wear blonde. I didn’t get any other makeup, the rest was skincare and I didn’t get JLo either. I was really disappointed

Yay... you got 3...THREE Icon Boxes. Mine is nowhere to be found! Never got it. Got my tiny Ipsy bag..that's all. I've been dealing with the Bot, then the Bot again, then finally they acknowledged my issue and said they'd look into it and "write up a ticket". I sure hope it dosen't get sent to me with 'floor sweepin's' because so many videos I've watched had broken eyeshadows. Yours is actually the only one not broken! 😅
The bronzer is very light so I think it would be fine for you.

I had the same issue. I signed up for icon box because i needed a new eyebrow pencil and i use a lot of the abh products. So when i signed up, i thought they werent going to let me customize since it waa my first box. I logged on that choice morning and it looked like your screen, BUT a few hours later, i tried again and ingot to pick my items, add addons and etc.. so yeah, im not sure exactly what the choice time is, boxy used to have that and i loved it. My first ipsy box, choice started first thing in the morning so now i just log on first thing and keep checking til its ready. I was reallly happy with this box. Except they can keep the J.Lo products they keep pushing lol.
Have you ever done the math on those samples? It’ll make you feel real good for canceling them. I do believe that it used to be worth at least $50? Not up to $70? When I still got the bags, a few times I took the price and size of the full sized items and figured out how much the product in the deluxe samples were worth. I maybe did this with 8 or 10 bags over years and found that the average price of my items were around $28. Even with one or two full sized products, I never got above $35. And I really didn’t like how the bags smelled more and more like TPE plastic the more time went on…. Getting rid of the boxes, used to get all ipsies and all BCs at one point for a year), not a one but thinking about eyescream or p louise occasionally (or - i forget the name - anyone? - those luxury boxes that always sell out quick and come maybe 3 or 4 times a years? Is Pop Sugar a thing or is that a candy store? Whatever - so getting rid of those boxes, best decision ever.

Pretty sure the Ole Henricksen is your beauty boost product. You should be able to customize on the 2nd and 3rd of every month for the boxy and icon box. I'm not sure if the glambag customization is the same date every month I just know it's towards the end of the month.
My box was pretty decent too 🤷🏻♀️ I got the eye cream, fenty primer, concealer, eyebrow product, eyeliner, mascara, cream bronzer, pat McGrath lipstick and the primrose palette. I kinda like that I can do just about a full face, minus foundation
On the app they have a timeline, its usually the beginning of the month for picking. But yea its only a few days you get.
You have to log in on the 2nd of the month to build your box, and early in the morning is best.
Oh and your payment has to process the first time they try to bill you or you may not get access.
