I literally cannot believe that Leny Yoro is joining United when it seemed almost certain he was Real Madrid bound. INEOS really have shocked the footballing world. Not many clubs beat Real Madrid to any player but we did to one of the best talents out there who's ceiling is so high he's considered a generational talent. I'm absolutely delighted. This is a real statement from Ineos that they mean business
I mean, Real Madrid wouldn't back from a deal like that without a good reason. They probably didn't value him above 35mil
Don’t get it twisted. If Real Madrid actually wanted him, he’d have gone there instead of to us. It’s his dream to play for Madrid, but for whatever reason, probably because they’ve spent £150m on Mbappe’s wages and bonuses, they’ve pulled out the race for Yoro.
Madrid will take it like a loan move till he is close to peak like with mbappe.

This are the signing we miss for years
Don't want to get carried away...but his stature & style....very reminiscent of a young Rio Ferdinand. Still lots of work to do...but alot of natural ability that you can't teach....so with coaching tweaks he has a solid platform to improve.
Composure, Decision making, First touch, heading, anticipation & positioning all look very strong...a promising base to build on....on top of that for someone so young looks like he is a budding leader, natural confidence in his ability & humble.
I like that we have young players with this character...Garnacho, Mainoo, Hojlund & now Yoro....we still need more strength & character in depth but yes we have another rough diamond.

What makes you think that? The last 12 months he’s only fielded his strongest 11 probably once and it was the FA cup final in the best team in the world and we won.
@@MB98164 what makes me think that is when you don't give players like Kambwala enough game time. Most of our so called top 11 players underperformed for most of the season and some were injured. I wouldn't even say we had a top 11 squad last season but I do think that since we had so many underperforming "top 11" players last season it would have been a great opportunity to give some these talented youngsters more game time(not 3 or 4 games whole season) and see if they could break in to the squad. He could have gotten a bit more creative with the squad rotation in my opinion. No point playing the same 11 majority of the season when they barely showing any signs of improvement or consistency. But thats just my opinion. I favour ETH as the manager I just feel like he is holding some of creative decision making back a little probably for the fear of making mistakes or getting sacked. He's relying too much on implementing his style of play and less on other important fundamentals.

The fact that premier league is different I'm not that worried because of his age. Lots of improvement can be made.
Labelling any player as "perfect" for a club is difficult, but Leny Yoro seems to possess many qualities that could make him an excellent addition to us. His defensive skills, growth potential, and tactical fit align well with the club’s needs and philosophy. However, as with any transfer, the ultimate success would depend on how he adapts to the Premier League and the team dynamics.
